I’m really enjoying this novel so far. It fits my taste perfectly. I’m still confused about the male lead—sometimes he seems to truly love the female lead, and other times it feels like he just wants to possess her. I’m excited to see what happens next, and I hope the female lead becomes stronger and stands up for herself.

Maybe this is just my bad theory, but I honestly feel like he’s using revenge as an excuse just to keep the female lead by his side. That’s the vibe I’m getting. He seriously feels like a crazy obsessed guy, lol.

Honestly, I think the female lead is very realistic, especially for that time period. She grew up spoiled and wealthy, then suddenly lost everything, so her weakness and emotions make sense to me.
