[Full] The Villain Found Out This is a Novel (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 33
Terrifyingly, I couldn’t see anything in front of me—not even Sikar’s hand that had been holding mine.
“S-Sikar! Where are you?!”
“Don’t worry. I’m right here.”
“Where?!”
“I’m only watching Kian’s dream through you. I can’t enter with you. So follow Kian’s dream, guided by my voice.”
“W-Where should I go?”
“Look ahead. You’ll see faint, moving shapes. Follow them.”
After walking a little farther, I truly began to see faint, moving forms appear.
“W-What are these things?”
“Hmm. They seem like tiny fragments of Kian’s fears, though I’m not entirely sure. Go deeper. Don’t be afraid. I’m watching you. If anything goes wrong, I’ll pull you out. Keep going—otherwise, we won’t learn what’s happening to Kian or what he’s thinking.”
Even though I was an adult, I still had things that frightened me—especially a path this dark.
Because of that, my steps wouldn’t move easily.
“Just a little farther. Walk just a little more.”
“H-How much farther do I have to go?”
“We’re almost there.”
As I moved closer, white shapes appeared before me this time. When I approached, I saw they were all wolves.
“They’re the white wolves of the snowy mountains. But they won’t harm you, so just ignore them and pass through.”
“T-They won’t harm me?”
“That’s right. Because Kian doesn’t see you as an enemy.”
“But… they’re all glaring right at me…?”
Their eyes never left me—they stared only at me. My steps grew heavier as I reached the edge of the line of white wolves directly before me.
Just as I managed to force my trembling leg to take one step forward, I felt someone swiftly grab my hand. Startled, I turned to see Sikar standing beside me.
“But you said you couldn’t come here?”
“These creatures seem to be among the things Kian fears most. They’ll probably attack you. Even though this is a dream, if you get hurt, the psychological damage will be severe—because this isn’t your dream.”
Sssshhk. The sharp metallic sound that grated on my nerves was Sikar drawing his sword.
The moment he drew his blade, the white wolves charged at us. Sikar pushed me behind him and began cutting down the charging spirits. Every wolf struck by his blade vanished like smoke.
“Don’t lift your head! Keep your face buried in my back and stay still until it’s over!”
Sikar’s shout was like thunder—utterly impossible to disobey. I pressed my face into his back, clutching his coat, and held my breath until everything ended.
My arms and legs trembled as I watched his dazzling movements ahead.
Soon, everything fell silent, and only Sikar’s ragged breathing remained.
“Haah… haah….”
When I opened my eyes, blood was dripping steadily from Sikar’s arm.
“A-Are you okay…?”
“I’m fine. This is nothing.”
But Sikar’s face said otherwise. Crimson blood from claw marks on his forehead dripped steadily onto his eyes.
“Are… are you really alright?”
“Yes. Since this is a dream, it’s fine. Once we’re outside, it’ll be as if nothing happened.”
“Really?”
“Yes. So don’t be scared—just follow me.”
I tightly gripped Sikar’s trembling arm with my own shaking hand and followed him.
“The white wolves of the snowy mountains don’t usually threaten fire spirit mages… It seems Kian fears them because he feels vaguely trapped in the snowy mountains.”
“W-Where is Kian? Is he at that cliff again?”
“Today, he’s over there.”
Kian…?
Kian was in the snowy mountains, seemingly searching for Valije in the midst of the peaks.
“Why is Kian looking for Valije there…? This never happened in the original story…”
“The original only mentioned he had a nightmare—it didn’t describe the dream in detail.”
“Could it be… because he misses Valije?”
“More likely it’s guilt over Valije. Even if he’s only seven, knowing his own father died protecting him… lately, he’s begun despising himself a little for being happy with us.”
After saying that, Sikar turned and pulled me tightly into his arms.
Trending
“What are you doing, Sikar?”
“That’s why this place today swarms with the things Kian fears and despises.”
“What are you talking about?”
When I turned my head, I saw indistinct black shapes I couldn’t identify.
“W-What are these things?!”
“Don’t look! If they sense your fear, they’ll come after you! Bury your face in my chest and stay still!”
So that’s why he told me earlier not to lift my head—because if our eyes met, they’d attack me!
I covered my ears with my hands and squeezed my eyes shut. Sikar held me tightly with one arm to keep me from moving as he fought the formless entities charging at us.
His arm moved dynamically, accompanied by the loud clash of metal, the sharp sound of claws tearing flesh, and the ripping of cloth.
After a while, everything quieted down, and Sikar staggered, planting his sword on the ground for support.
When I opened my eyes, all the black shapes had vanished, but blood flowed from Sikar’s abdomen, arms, and neck.
“S-Sikar! Are you okay?! You’re not afraid of them—why are they attacking you?!”
Sikar panted heavily and wiped blood trickling from his mouth.
“Because I’m someone who shouldn’t be here… Now that I’ve eliminated them, go find Kian.”
“O-Okay. But are you really…?”
While I spoke, Sikar faded away faintly like a dying ember. Then his voice came again.
Look behind you.
When I turned, I saw the cabin in Bahara’s snowy mountains where Kian had once lived with Valije.
Kian sat on the cabin’s deck, crying.
“Kian!”
Just as I rushed toward him, the scene suddenly shifted again. The cabin vanished, replaced by a dark forest.
“Look down!”
When I lowered my head, I felt dizzy and stepped back.
Below me, Kian clung desperately to the cliff edge with one hand. It seemed his guilt had driven him there.
“Kian!”
I immediately dropped to my knees and grabbed Kian’s hand.
“Kian! I’m here! I came to find you! Hold my hand tightly!”
Seeing Kian’s tear-filled eyes brimming with fear and guilt hurt my heart terribly.
“Mother…?”
“Yes, it’s me.”
“M-Mother! It’s dangerous here! Let go of my hand and run away! Please, Mother!”
“No. I’m alright. It’s safe here, Kian. You’re safe too. So take my hand and come up from that cliff right now!”
But Kian wouldn’t pull himself up with my hand. I felt something creeping up behind me—the white wolves of the snowy mountains.
“Just hold on a little longer! Even though we couldn’t save Valije, if I can save you, Kian’s guilt will lessen! You have to help Kian free himself from that cliff! So—close your eyes!”
I nodded firmly at Sikar, signaling I understood, and shut my eyes.
“No! Mother! No! Leave my mother alone! I said leave her alone!”
Kian’s scream, nearly a shriek of despair, tore through the air.
“Leave my mother alone! I said, don’t touch my mother!”
Just then, I felt a wolf climb onto my back. In that chilling moment, Kian pushed off the cliff and pulled himself up.
“Don’t you dare touch my mother!”
Spirit entities had suddenly formed in Kian’s hands and swarmed the wolves on my back.
“Whoosh!”
A wave of heat rose from behind me, then silence swiftly followed. When I lifted my head to see what happened, I found myself cradled in Sikar’s arms.
“W-What happened to Kian?”
“Look. He’s right there.”
Ahead, Kian lay fast asleep. Only then did I finally relax, and I turned to look at Sikar again.
Earlier, he’d kept his head lowered and I’d been too shaken to notice properly—but now I saw blood flowing from his face. Not just his face, but hot blood also streamed from the side of his neck.
In the novel, Sikar was always portrayed as a cold-hearted man who never shed a drop of blood—not even in death was he ever described as bleeding; he was the coldest of the cold-blooded.
The man who always seemed so calm—whom I’d thought wouldn’t bleed even if pricked with a needle—was now dripping blood. I was so shocked that tears spilled from my eyes without my realizing.
“You said you’d be fine! You said it’s just a dream, so it’s fine! Then why are you bleeding like this? Is this still a dream? Is that why? Tell me—why are you bleeding so much?!”

“Perhaps it’s the price I pay for lying to you, just as you said.”
“Is this really the time for jokes?!”
He frowned and gently wiped my tears away with his hand.
“To cry over something like this… Seriously, you must really care about me. First you cried when I died—now you’re crying over a mere injury? You’re whining more than Happy, who used to bark every time I got hurt.”
“I’m not crying because I’m sad—I’m crying because I’m shocked! Wait! I’ll go get help!”
Sikar grabbed my arm as I tried to stand and slumped down onto the bed, leaning against it.
“Who would you call?”
“I-I don’t know! But someone! I have to get someone!”
“In this den crawling with villains, not a single person can heal wounds like these. Just go to my room and bring back a potion.”
‘Right! Sikar always kept healing potions in his desk drawer and gave them to his subordinates whenever they got hurt!’
I immediately ran to Sikar’s room, found a potion, and gave it to him. Slowly, his wounds began to close.
“After a good night’s sleep, I’ll be fine—so stop crying.”
“I told you—I’m crying from shock! From shock!”
Just then, a rustling sound came from Kian’s direction—he must have woken up. Sikar and I exchanged startled glances.
Sikar lowered himself further and gestured ‘shh’ toward me before hiding under the bed.
When Kian fully woke and saw me, he sat up abruptly as if jolted awake and hugged me tightly.
“M-Mother!”
I hugged Kian back as if nothing had happened.
“Look at this cold sweat.”
“I saw you in my dream.”
“Really?”
“Yes!”
Kian pressed his face into me, hugging me tightly.
“You protected me from the bad things.”
He was describing as if I’d protected him, when in truth, it was he who had protected me.
“Really? That’s wonderful. My son always protects me in real life, so it makes me truly happy that I could protect him in his dream, even just this once.”
Kian looked up at me as if to confirm it was true.
“I protected you…?”
“Of course. You always protect me. Without you, I’d have been so lonely. Thank you for always watching over me.”
“I’ll protect you from now on too.”
For Kian, who had grown up alone with only his father in the snowy mountains, Valije had been everything.
After losing such a father in an instant, of course Kian couldn’t have easily forgotten him. Maybe I’d been too careless, simply because Kian seemed fine on the outside.
That must be why Kian—happier than usual lately—had nightmares like this today.
It was Kian’s innermost feelings I’d never have known if not for Sikar’s help in entering his dream.
Holding Kian tightly, I wished with all my heart that he would be freed from guilt and fear today.

Male lead Asks for a Divorce Every Day
It’s not often you come across a plot like this in the female-dominant genre — make sure to check it out!

This is a novel I’m planning to reread as well.
The male lead is strong, skilled in martial arts, and not the usual fragile type you often see in matriarchal novels.
Meanwhile, the female lead is a scientist—rational and logical. Even when she falls for the male lead, she doesn’t let her emotions cloud her decisions.
If you push through the first few chapters, you’ll gradually find the story really intriguing.
It has a mix of mystery, detective elements, and romance.
The author’s writing style is like crafting a puzzle—except they deliberately leave out a few pieces, making it hard to predict what happens next, yet keeping you hooked.
In the end, everything will come together and be explained.
One-sentence summary: Wife, stop playing with beakers and look at me!
In a laboratory accident, research scientist Zhu Wansheng accidentally travels to a matriarchal world. The original owner of the body is an eighteen-year-old only daughter of a wealthy rouge merchant, already married with a handsome young man.
Zhu Wansheng grins: Nice! She always said she was heaven’s favorite granddaughter. After a life of toil in her previous life, she can enjoy blessings in this one.
However, her joy lasts no more than three seconds as bad news arrives: the original owner’s family is about to go bankrupt, and her husband wants a divorce.
Even worse, she’s stuck with a research system full of restrictions.
Zhu Wansheng: ? Is this the destiny of a research dog?
——
Faced with this mess, Zhu Wansheng pours herself a bowl of wine to drown her sorrows. In her drunken haze, her husband arrives.
His figure is imposing, holding a long sword, with a dignified air that captivates Zhu Wansheng.
Gu Yingqing, however, looks at the alcohol-reeking Zhu Wansheng with undisguised disgust and coldly asks, “Divorce or not?” The intoxicated Zhu Wansheng mumbles vaguely, “I think… it’s not… it’s not… impossible!”
——
The next day, after sobering up, Zhu Wansheng is full of energy, rolling up her sleeves ready to make a big move. As for yesterday? She has no memory of it.
Zhu Wansheng is ambitious; a research dog fears nothing!
Upgrading rouge, extracting fragrances, producing perfumes, researching lipsticks… all shall bow to the power of modern technology!
The original owner’s dying rouge shop is revitalized. Her mother is pleased and with a wave of her hand, passes on the family business to her. As she takes control and her experimental results gain popularity, it’s the pinnacle of her life…
——
But there are always those who can’t stand to see her doing well. Jealousy, scheming, assassination attempts – they want nothing less than her life.
The person who has always kept his distance from her suddenly holds her tightly in his arms, eyes full of concern.
She is unharmed, but he falls into a pool of blood…
Zhu Wansheng feels guilty, “I can grant you one wish.”
Gu Yingqing tentatively circles his arms around her, carefully resting his head in the crook of her neck, pleading softly, “I regret it. Can we not divorce?”
Zhu Wansheng: ? When did I agree to a divorce?

The newly developed rouge is beautifully packaged, and Zhu Wansheng is eager to try it.
Gu Yingqing suddenly appears: “My lady, may I apply it for you?”
Cool fingertips lightly brush her lips. His Adam’s apple bobs as he leans in for a light bite.
Zhu Wansheng: ?
Gu Yingqing: It smells so good, I wanted to taste it…
On a warm spring day, Zhu Wansheng tries a new perfume: “Spring Night.” Gu Yingqing corners her against a wall.
Warm breath lingers on her neck.
“My lady, from now on, may I test the fragrances for you?”

"I'll finish hugging you properly back at the ducal manor."
Is he just finding any excuse to hug her? I’m still trying to figure out if he’s starting to have feelings or not! Or if he’s just not right in the head and does these things out of obligation or sense of duty? Idk.

Wait…. what if Sikar was annoyed that Yura thought Kian was so cool for protecting Lucy by covering her eyes that Sikar felt jealous or something so decided to reenact it so he could do the same for Yura?

I still don’t get how her spending his money makes him impressed? 😂🤣
Honestly? Good job Sikar. The twins (especially Luid) and brats and should stop fighting all the time. Their dad isn’t doing get there. And I’m not a fan of the “gentle parenting” when the kids are absolute terrors that need a more firm hand.
I wonder if Sikar is starting to get slightly jealous of Kian and his interactions with Yura?
