[Full] The Villain Found Out This is a Novel (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 26
After Meiri was called and brought tea, Raydocs rose from his seat.
Germy, who had been blowing on the hot tea and sipping it, suddenly jumped up from his chair in apparent panic.
“Why are you leaving first? Did you sell me out to the Duke? How much did you get for me? You’d better share that money with me later!”
“I’ve finished what I needed to do, so I’m leaving now. I didn’t sell you, so stop worrying.”
“Then why did you call me here?”
“The Duke will explain that to you in due time.”
“Really? Well, anyway, you still have to cover my travel expenses later! I used up quite a lot of mana flying all the way here!”
“I’ll take care of the payment, so just sit quietly in your seat.”
At Sikar’s deep, heavy voice, which cut through the noisy atmosphere, Germy glanced back and gave an awkward smile.
“In that case, I shall follow your instructions, Duke.”
Since Germy no longer tried to hold him back, Raydocs bowed toward us as if to say he was taking his leave.
“Then I shall take my leave now.”
“Thank you very much today, Marquis.”
Instead of replying, Sikar gave a slight nod, and Raydocs watched him with a gentle smile.
“You look quite fitting, Your Grace, holding the child.”
Even Sikar, who had been indifferent until now, finally smirked slightly at Raydocs.
“Go ahead.”
For Sikar, that was the height of courteous farewell, and Raydocs knew it well.
The exchange of glances between Sikar and Raydocs just now was exactly the kind that only parents exhausted by childcare could understand.
For the first time since visiting the Duke’s manor, Raydocs left the study with a smile.
After Raydocs departed, I immediately turned to Germy, my earlier anxiety returning.
“We summoned you, Magician, to remove the mark on our son’s neck.”
As soon as he heard my words, Germy began drawing something in the air, as if calculating.
“If you mean a mark… are you perhaps referring to something like a tattoo? If so, it’ll cost about two thousand shillings.”
“It’s not some ordinary tattoo. Look at this child.”
Sikar adjusted his hold, lifting Kian forward so Germy could clearly see the mark on his neck.
“Remove this mark.”
Upon seeing the royal crest on Kian’s neck, Germy froze completely, sitting rigidly without even blinking, as if time itself had stopped.
“D-Duke… But why is there a child bearing the royal crest here? As far as I know, the only royal currently existing in Rekador is His Majesty King Gillian… Is this child truly of royal blood?”
“My impolite friend apparently failed to explain. Ask Raydocs about it later. For now, just handle this.”
“If this person truly is of royal lineage, how could I possibly dare lay my hands on such a noble body…?”
“I’ll tell you this much: this child is Veronia’s son—the only royal grandson currently existing in Rekador.”
“You mean… His Highness the Royal Grandson, born of Princess Veronia?”
“Yes.”
Germy looked thoroughly bewildered. He surely never imagined a royal grandson would be here—it was no wonder he was shocked.
But then, as if suddenly remembering something, he abruptly stood up and knelt toward Kian, who was still asleep.
“W-Welcome, Your Highness the Royal Grandson! I am Germy Aiker, formerly Captain of the Royal Palace Guard. I offer my greetings, Your Highness!”
Germy could be quite serious when the occasion demanded it.
Back during the deposed king’s reign, Germy had served as Captain of the Royal Palace Guard, but left the palace just before being promoted to Commander. Now he lived in a modest five-story tower.
Seeing Germy make such a loud, formal greeting, Sikar frowned.
“Don’t wake him.”
“A-Ah, yes, yes! My apologies, Duke.”
“We’re short on time—remove it quickly.”
“As this is a royal crest, I cannot erase it entirely, only conceal it from sight. However, hiding a royal mark requires considerable mana, and it would take me a very long time to replenish that mana. I’d need to purchase mana potions for that. So….”
In short, it would cost a lot of money. Sikar, clearly annoyed, waved his hand dismissively.
“I’ll give you fifty thousand shillings.”
Fifty thousand shillings was enough to buy ten mana potions here. Germy immediately rolled up his sleeves, evidently seeing no need to haggle further.
“I’ll begin right away.”
“Just make sure it’s done within an hour. If you’re late, you’ll leave this manor as a corpse.”
Despite Sikar’s deadly tone, Germy grinned cheerfully, clearly unfazed.
Trending
“Don’t worry. Five minutes will do.”
It only took five minutes?
Sikar and I exchanged glances simultaneously, both relieved that things were proceeding smoothly.
Germy summoned a blue magical aura that seemed to cling to the mark on Kian’s nape, slowly sinking into both the mark and the skin beneath. And just as Germy had promised, after roughly five minutes, the mark vanished completely without a trace.
It’s done! Now I can finally go out with Kian without worry.
“To make the mark reappear, just use the same method again.”
So that meant I’d have to call him again then. Well, I’d planned on it anyway.
“Master Germy Aiker, thank you so much.”
“Not at all. Should you ever need anything—magic lanterns, magical gates, or the like—please call on me anytime. My fees aren’t high.”
Germy hadn’t always been so money-conscious, but ever since managing his mage tower alone while also looking after a small village, he’d constantly struggled financially.
That had practically turned him into a salesperson—and given his naturally cheerful and lively personality, it suited him well.
Sikar summoned Vika and instructed her to pay Germy the fifty thousand shillings. Vika dragged over a sack and tossed it toward Germy.
Germy nearly staggered under the weight of the money-filled sack but, after peeking inside, broke into a broad, deeply satisfied grin.
Hmm. That was certainly a refreshingly blunt transaction. But carrying that much money through the sky again would probably be quite tiring.
“Thank you, Duke. I’ll put your generous payment to good use.”
“Where you spend it is your own business. Now be off.”
“Then I eagerly await your next summons!”
Sikar didn’t bother giving Germy any special instructions about secrecy before letting him go. After all, through me, he had already clearly seen just how faithfully Germy upheld his loyalty in matters involving Raydocs.
Indeed, Germy would never have come to this manor unless Raydocs had personally arranged it. No matter how close they’d become, Germy would never have aided Sikar once he’d aligned himself with Gillian.
And now, having seen Kian, Germy surely understood one thing for certain: Sikar was no longer Gillian’s man.
With Kian’s mark resolved, the problem now was me. The thought of actually meeting Gillian made my body tense up with nervousness. Sikar, ever perceptive, immediately noticed my state.
“You seem tense?”
Of course I was tense! One of the main villain bosses was coming here—how could I not be nervous?
“Are you worried Gillian might point a sword at you the way I once did?”
I shook my head sideways, indicating that wasn’t it.
Sikar was openly threatening, but Gillian was a terrifying villain who pretended endlessly to be kind and benevolent to your face, only to stab you in the back.
He was a cunning, unreadable antagonist—frightening in a completely different way from Sikar.
“I’m just a little worried whether I can really pass myself off as the Duchess.”
‘Because Gillian’s perceptiveness isn’t ordinary like yours, Sikar.’
Unlike Sikar, Gillian didn’t read memories—he deduced people and situations just by observing their expressions, gestures, and movements. His intuition was exceptionally sharp and astute.
Any slight mistake on my part would surely make him suspicious, so I couldn’t help but feel uneasy.
“Gillian suspects everyone, regardless of whether you perform well or poorly. So you might as well relax and act naturally.”
That was true. Gillian trusted no one but himself.
“Now we need to wake Kian. I’ll need your help.”
“Me?”
“As I said, it’s hard for me alone to penetrate a royal’s mental barriers. I need the presence of someone Kian trusts—your consciousness.”
“Hmm. I don’t really understand what you mean.”
“It means come here and give me your hand.”
Warily, I extended my hand toward Sikar—and instantly felt my mind being pulled inward.
‘What… what is this?!’
In pitch darkness, only Sikar’s voice reached me.
“Turn your head.”
When I turned, I saw Kian sleeping soundly, surrounded by slumber sprites.
“Vika really went overboard releasing those sprites. Go wake him gently so he isn’t startled.”
Waking a child without startling him was easy enough for me.
I softly called Kian’s name and gently patted his shoulder. His eyes slowly fluttered open.
“Mother…?”
He blinked a few times, as if he’d just had a pleasant dream. Sikar gave me a nod, clearly approving of how I’d handled it.
“Kian, did you sleep well?”
Kian rubbed his eyes, finally regaining full awareness. When he realized he’d been resting on Sikar’s lap, he quickly sprang away and hurried over to me.

Watching him scramble away like that made me want to burst out laughing—but I forced myself to hold it in.
Most amusing of all was Sikar’s expression, glaring daggers at the back of Kian’s head as if deeply offended.
“Mother, I think I took a long nap.”
“Kian, now that you’re awake, you should greet the Duke.”
Reluctantly, Kian turned and gave Sikar a small nod. Sikar merely snorted and tilted his head aside.
“Kian, we’re expecting a guest today.”
“A guest?”
“His Majesty the King will be visiting us today.”
The mere mention of a king clearly astonished young Kian, who widened his eyes and exclaimed,
“Wow! So the king himself is coming?”
“Yes. He’ll be joining us for dinner here, so we need to be extra careful about a few things.”
“Yes! I won’t run around or make noise—I’ll be quiet and well-behaved, like a good, polite child.”
“And there are a few more things I need to ask of you.”
Kian waited attentively for my next words.
“Kian, remember what I told you—if anyone asks, you must always say I’m your real mother, okay?”
“Of course! I remember.”
“Never forget that.”
Especially not today.
“Yes, I won’t.”
“And this is very important…”
“Yes! Please tell me!”
“Even if His Majesty seems cold and distant, you must never act rudely. Always show proper respect—for the sake of our family. Do you understand?”
“Hmm… Yes. I understand, Mother.”
“Good boy. That’s my son.”
Kian was clever enough—just this much instruction should be sufficient.
When the evening sun hung over the mountain ridges and the earth turned crimson,
what was destined to arrive finally did.
The moment Gillian appeared, time itself seemed to slow—the ticking of the clock, the flow of everything around me—as if the world moved in slow motion.
Gillian’s dazzling golden hair and luminous blue eyes, identical to Kian’s, gave him an intensely imposing presence.
Seeing him beside Sikar, I suddenly realized anew that I stood beside a villain among villains—one who climbed atop others’ heads without hesitation.
‘Now I truly feel I’m deep in the heart of villainy.’
Behind Gillian entered a man whose hood was pulled so low it obscured half his face. Just from that dark silhouette, I recognized him as Gillian’s mage, Passium.
Passium looked exactly as described in the novel—nothing but a shapeless black form, with no visible face at all.
His bound spirit, Lafe, was nowhere in sight, suggesting they had come alone.
“I hope the journey wasn’t too tedious for you.”
In truth, it wasn’t far at all from Rekador Royal Palace. Sikar’s remark was little more than a thinly veiled jab—why bother coming in person?
The novel had noted that Sikar never showed deference or hesitation toward the king, and that Gillian had always tolerated Sikar’s arrogance well.
But now, Gillian’s demeanor was strikingly different from what I’d expected. He wore a subtly hostile expression.
“To call a distance one could stumble across ‘far’ wounds me. It sounds as if our relationship has grown so distant lately.”
Watching these villains engage in such a tense exchange right before my eyes sent cold sweat streaming down my spine.

When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!

The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.

I still don’t get how her spending his money makes him impressed? 😂🤣
Honestly? Good job Sikar. The twins (especially Luid) and brats and should stop fighting all the time. Their dad isn’t doing get there. And I’m not a fan of the “gentle parenting” when the kids are absolute terrors that need a more firm hand.
I wonder if Sikar is starting to get slightly jealous of Kian and his interactions with Yura?
