Since Sikar said we’ve become a family and thus must have our portrait painted, we sat side by side in the parlor from early morning.

We placed Kian in front and Sikar and I sat behind, staring at the portrait artist. Sikar, scrutinizing our faces, adjusted our expressions as if dissatisfied.

“Don’t smile needlessly. This portrait will be passed down to future generations—we can’t leave behind a foolish-looking picture. Assume the boldest and most dignified expression you can manage.”

Though the bold and dignified expression Sikar described looked to me exactly like a murderous glare, we nonetheless put on the expressions he wanted.

In short, we stared straight ahead with a “bring it on” kind of look.

Unlike me, who began feeling slightly bored, the two of them stood perfectly still and composed until the painting was finished—an attitude fitting for both a protagonist whose patience was ingrained into his bones and a true villain.

After holding the same pose for such a long time, once the painting was complete, we had to groan and rub our limbs, stiff from numbness—but seeing the finished portrait, we felt it had been worth it.

Our little family of three, each with different hair and eye colors, surprisingly matched well together, leaving me very satisfied.

Our family portrait was placed in a massive frame studded with gold and precious gems. It was hung on the living room wall right beside Grandmother’s portrait.

For me, this was akin to taking my first-ever family photograph.

Though it was bittersweet, knowing we weren’t a real family but a fabricated one, it still held meaning—because Kian was in this portrait.

“Well done, Kian. We have matters to attend to, so you may go up to your room now.”

I winked one eye at Kian, who looked reluctant, assuring him we’d have dinner together later. Adorably, Kian also winked back at me with one eye.

“See you later, Mother.”

“See you later, son.”

Kian gave me a bright smile and climbed up the stairs. After bidding a reluctant farewell to Kian, we headed to Sikar’s study.

Ever since yesterday, when he’d said we’d practice dancing today, I’d again felt the urge to attempt another escape last night—but thinking of Kian, I’d firmly suppressed it. Besides, it was obvious I’d be caught again immediately even if I tried.

Standing face to face with Sikar made me nervous. His gaze unmistakably seemed to say, “I’ll kill you with my eyes alone,” to anyone who looked at him.

Cruelly, every time I tried to avert my eyes, Sikar grasped my chin and forced me to look directly at him.

“When dancing, never take your eyes off your partner.”

“Then how about we soften our gazes just a little toward each other?”

“When dancing, never wear such a vague, dreamy expression. You must exchange intense gazes—so don’t try to correct my gaze; correct your own.”

Sikar tilted my chin down slightly, then pulled the corners of my eyes upward.

“Like this. Understand?”

“This doesn’t look dignified at all—it looks exactly like the wicked witch from a fairy tale.”

“Not at all. It looks extremely dignified.”

“This? This is the textbook expression of a classic villainess.”

“Having lived timidly your whole life, you wouldn’t understand. From now on, practice making this expression often.”

Well, it seemed to me that Sikar defined all villainous expressions as dignified and refined—which explained why he always wore that languid, emotionless face.

“You might as well just tell me to become a villainess.”

“Yes. That would be better. You might as well become a villainess.”

Since he was being completely serious, I stared back at Sikar with the villainess-like expression he mistakenly believed looked dignified. Anyone would call this an outright staring contest.

My eyes were forced open so wide without even blinking that tears began to form, and Sikar, satisfied, lifted one corner of his mouth. Since that expression of his always terrified me, I immediately followed through with the next move I’d learned yesterday.

I placed my hand in the one he extended and began dancing as he instructed.

“Don’t be nervous. When we dance, only the king and queen will be present—so there’s no need to tremble already, as you won’t be dancing in front of a crowd.”

It’s not because of the crowd that I’m trembling—it’s because of you.

All that filled my vision while dancing with Sikar were the sharp longswords hung all around the room.

Though this was clearly his study, there were far more longswords than books—an unspoken threat that at any moment, he might take one of those blades and slit my throat.

Still, as a dance instructor, Sikar wasn’t half bad. He taught patiently and clearly, repeating each step over and over until I got it right.

Part of the reason Sikar had achieved so much at a young age was not only because he belonged to the Sitari clan, known for exceptional strength and magical resistance, but also because of his tireless perseverance—his relentless willingness to repeat the same thing endlessly.

In short, he was a master of review.

And now, thanks to his relentless insistence on repetition, I felt utterly drained.

“No matter how difficult something may be, you can’t help but master it through repetition.”

As if I didn’t know that—of course it’s hard.

I was trapped like the girl in the red shoes, forced to repeat the same dance until I collapsed from exhaustion.

“That’s enough for today.”

After the dance ended, I staggered toward the sofa once more and flopped onto it—but seeing Sikar’s sharp glare, I quickly sat up properly again.

“From tomorrow onward, for the time being, we’ll repeat this exact same dance every day. Also, before sunset each day, we’ll correct that overly sweet expression of yours and drill you in noble etiquette.”

So, did that mean he wanted me to constantly wear the same blank, emotionless expression as him?

“First, go tell Andrea right now to plant red roses outside your window so they’re clearly visible whenever you open it.”

Chapter 115 Chapter 114

“In the middle of winter?”

“If you use Holy Water from the cathedral, they’ll grow fine.”

“But why roses…?”

“You have no thorns at all—so you’re always leaving openings for others to exploit. Every morning when you wake, open your window, look at those bright red roses, and learn: even something beautiful can’t be approached easily once it grows thorns. Of course, even if you grow thorns, they’ll probably be soft—but I’ll watch anyway. I want to see what kind of thorns you’ll grow.”

“I’ll make sure to grow thorns big enough to pierce you.”

“I’ll be expecting that.”

While Sikar watched, I summoned Andrea and ordered her to plant the roses.

He could have easily told Andrea himself, but under the pretext that I needed to adapt to acting like the lady of the house by giving orders, he made me handle all such matters.

“You’re unnecessarily kind to the servants.”

“I hate abuse of power, that’s all. Ah—though ‘abuse of power’ might need explaining…”

“I know. You’re referring to all those times the wealthy endlessly mistreated you.”

“Exactly. That’s why I want to be someone the servants genuinely like—I mean, they’re the ones working for me.”

“Pointless.”

Judging by his reaction, it seemed he actually didn’t mind. After all, Sikar himself never carelessly dismissed or mistreated the servants under his command.

Without any time to deepen my bond with Kian, I spent each day learning how to truly become a duchess, while Kian, under Vika’s guidance, learned the etiquette expected of noble children.

Just as Sikar said, repeating the same actions and speech patterns daily made me aware of my own gradual transformation.

It was regrettable, though, that this feeling resembled not becoming refined and dignified, but rather growing darker, gloomier, and increasingly corrupted.

⭐⭐⭐

Meanwhile, the time to meet Lucy was drawing near.

I’d planned to find her during her next runaway attempt and bring her back to the Marquis’s mansion. However, things didn’t go smoothly—they escalated urgently instead.

A few days before I was due to meet my favorite character for the second time, we had no choice but to visit the Marquis’s mansion before Lucy even ran away.

Gillian had learned that Sikar had registered a golden-haired, blue-eyed child and declared he’d visit the Duke’s mansion to see Kian—so we had to act quickly.

Thus, we weren’t granted the time we’d originally planned to gradually build a rapport with Raydocs.

“Raizemon ordered that bastard Gillian to check Kian’s neck. We must hurry. I’ll speak to Raydocs myself—tell him Kian is Veronia’s child.”

Raydocs wasn’t foolish, despite his gentle demeanor.

In the original story, he saved Kian precisely because Kian was an enemy of both Gillian and Sikar—but now that Kian was Sikar’s adopted son, Raydocs might refuse to help.

Raydocs was a character specifically designed to keep Sikar in check, harboring a deep, unspoken hostility. He might even dislike Sikar without fully understanding why—much like how Sikar instinctively felt antagonistic toward Kian.

Therefore, if we didn’t explain the situation carefully to Raydocs, we’d receive no assistance at all.

Worse, he might even expose Kian’s existence to Gillian—that’s why I’d originally intended to build trust with him slowly.

To convince Raydocs that Gillian was a tyrant no less cruel than the deposed king, I had no choice but to persuade him thoroughly.

⭐⭐⭐

“Your sudden visit is rather surprising. What brings you here?”

An icy chill permeated the windless reception room of the Marquis’s mansion.

Raydocs’s expression clearly showed his discomfort upon hearing of our arrival. Since he didn’t even take a seat, I immediately stood up upon seeing him—but Sikar merely sat with his arms crossed.

So I grasped Sikar’s arm and tugged him upward. Though physically overpowering him was impossible, because we’d agreed in the carriage on our way here that he’d follow my lead, Sikar reluctantly rose.

“We came because we have something important to discuss.”

Raydocs looked not at me, but at Sikar, and asked,

“I wasn’t aware you had anything to say to me.”

“Speak with my wife.”

Back in the carriage, I’d suggested it would be better if I handled the persuasion, and Sikar had agreed.

With visible reluctance, Raydocs sighed and said,

“Please, have a seat.”

“Thank you.”

After we sat again, maids brought tea. As one maid moved to pour tea into Raydocs’s cup, I held out my palm to stop her, took the teapot, and poured the tea into his cup myself.

Raydocs, who’d been sitting stiffly as if displeased with the awkward situation, looked at me in surprise and gave a slight bow.

“Thank you… Blake.”

I set down the teapot, offered him a calm smile, and returned to my seat.

Every time I smiled gently like this, Sikar would grumble that after all his lessons on dignity and grace, I was still showing nothing but a meek, gentle smile.

Out of the corner of my eye, as expected, Sikar was looking at me with clear disapproval. He leaned close and whispered so only I could hear,

“I told you to persuade him, not grovel.”

Top Celebrity Younger Brother Bears Her Child (Female-dominant)

One-line summary: Forced to live stream romance with a top celebrity in a female-dominant world.

Yan Jin transmigrated into a brothel, with a fellow transmigrated junior beside her.

Hearing the obscene words coming from outside, the unfortunate junior covered his ears tightly, his cheeks flushed red, and whispered to comfort her, “Don’t worry, I will definitely help you escape.”

“Don’t worry, I will definitely defend your chastity.” Yan Jin looked at the flawless and delicate features of the unfortunate junior and gently comforted, “Because we have transmigrated into a female-dominant world.”

※※※

Top celebrity Yu Shu suddenly fell into a coma during a concert.

Research scientist Yan Jin fainted in the lab after working overtime.

Two people with no connection were rushed to the same hospital.

Three days later, neither of them had woken up.

Suddenly, the entire nation discovered that a live streaming app had been forcibly installed on their phones.

Upon opening it, they heard the two discussing how to escape from the brothel.

The entire internet was in an uproar.

After the two successfully escaped from the brothel, Yu Shu’s fan group rushed to make a banner and sent it to the hospital overnight.

“Big sister bravely took action to defend the chastity of our idol!”

※※※

When Yu Shu was diagnosed with pregnancy, Yan Jin stared at his belly for a long time.

Covering his stomach, he muttered gloomily, “If you don’t like it, I’ll go get an abortion.”

“It’s not that I don’t like it.” Yan Jin hugged Yu Shu and said softly, “I just feel like I’m not human.”

Yu Shu comforted Yan Jin, “I was already an adult when we got together.”

Yan Jin hesitated, “But you won’t be of legal marriageable age even after giving birth to the child.”

At the same time, a flood of bullet comments appeared in the live streaming room that the two couldn’t see.

[Although it’s inappropriate, I also want a young and handsome boyfriend to have my child.]

①Male pregnancy (highlighted)

The female lead is five years older than the male lead, and the male lead is already an adult when he appears.
