The World Star Who Seduced Me (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 15
The next day, Yeo Woong sat across from Director Choi Hyun, the contract laid out between them.
“I’ll sign.”
At Yeo Woong’s words, Choi Hyun smiled and said,
“Thank you. Were all the contract terms to your satisfaction? If there’s anything you’d like to change, please feel free to let me know anytime.”
“Yes.”
“For now, we’ll assign you a dedicated manager and stylist starting today, and a vehicle for your use will also be provided. Right now, aside from ‘Office Trap,’ you don’t have any other scheduled commitments, correct?”
“Yes.”
Choi Hyun checked various items on his smartpad before asking Yeo Woong,
“Before filming for the movie ‘Arrow’ begins, I think it’d be good for you to take foreign language lessons. Do you speak any English?”
“No…”
“That’s fine—you can start learning now. Think of it as getting an early start on preparing for your international debut. You never know when the opportunity might come.”
“Yes. Thank you.”
Yeo Woong nodded.
The word “opportunity” etched itself vividly into her heart.
Choi Hyun briefly stepped away to take a phone call, then hung up after telling the person on the other end to come up to the meeting room.
“I’ve called your team members—they’ll be here shortly for introductions. Actually, our CEO really wanted to join us today, but something urgent came up, so he had to leave. He asked me to pass along how pleased he is that you’ll be working with us.”
“Yes, thank you. Please also tell him I look forward to working together.”
Yeo Woong smiled as she spoke. Just then, a knock sounded at the door. Choi Hyun opened it, and in walked a tall, sturdy-looking man and a pretty woman.
“Yeo Woong, please meet your dedicated manager, Kang Geon Woo, and your stylist, Seo Yoon Ji.”
“Hello.”
The three exchanged greetings. After so long doing everything alone, Yeo Woong suddenly felt reassured at the thought of having these two with her.
Choi Hyun watched the slightly awkward trio and said,
“Starting with your next shoot, Manager Kang will pick you up from your home. You’ll stop by the shop first for makeup and hair before heading to the set, and Yoon Ji will prepare your outfits. When’s your next shoot?”
“Thursday.”
“I see. Got it. Then you’re free to head out for today. Manager Kang and Yoon Ji, please stay behind with me for a bit.”
Hearing she could leave, Yeo Woong gathered her bag and stood up. It was her first day under contract, and her mind felt completely blank.
She stepped out of the meeting room in a daze.
Now that she had both a manager and a stylist, she no longer had to worry about driving or picking out clothes. That alone felt like a huge weight had been lifted from her shoulders.
She gently pressed down on the corners of her lips, which kept wanting to curve upward, and stood in front of the elevator. Just then, an elevator heading down arrived, and she quickly pressed the button. A moment later, the doors opened.
“…Huh?”
Inside stood a familiar face.
Seol Ji Oh, as strikingly handsome as ever, was scrolling through his phone with an air of indifference.
“Seol Ji Oh!”
She was oddly happy to see him. At the sound of her voice, Seol Ji Oh looked up and asked with a smile,
“Did you sign the contract?”
“Yes!”
“Then we’re officially family now.”
Yeo Woong nodded and stepped into the elevator.
“Thank you. I wouldn’t have gotten this far without you.”
“You’re thanking me, then?”
“Huh? Yes….”
Yeo Woong looked up at him. His eyes were glinting with mischief.
Wary of whatever prank he might pull next, she narrowed her eyes and stared at him.
“Then treat me to a meal.”
Surprised by the unexpectedly simple request, Yeo Woong blinked in confusion.
He’d even helped secure her contract with the agency—of course she could treat him to a meal.
“A meal? Just a meal is enough?”
“What, were you planning to offer something more?”
Leaning in close to whisper into her ear, his voice made Yeo Woong freeze in place. Flustered, she only managed to glance sideways at him—only to see him biting back a smile, his lips pressed together tightly.
Ugh… He’s always joking around.

Just then, the elevator reached the basement and the doors opened.
“Let’s go. Take my car.”
Seol Ji Oh stepped out with a light chuckle. Yeo Woong shot a quick glare at his handsome back before following him out.
The car carrying the two of them smoothly pulled out of the parking lot. Yeo Woong stole a glance at Seol Ji Oh’s profile as he drove.
These were always the moments that felt strangest to her since reuniting with Seol Ji Oh.
Especially when she discovered a side of him she’d never imagined as a child.
The way he drove with one hand so casually felt unfamiliar—yet undeniably impressive.
How could she put it?
He just seemed… manly.
Shaking her head to clear the weird thoughts creeping in again, Yeo Woong turned her gaze out the window.
As he drove, Seol Ji Oh glanced sideways at her. She sat gripping her seatbelt tightly with both hands, staring fixedly out the window.
He had to press down hard on the corners of his mouth to keep from laughing. With his free hand, he rubbed the back of his neck.
Being near Yeo Woong always gave him this odd, ticklish feeling.
Their destination turned out to be a French restaurant.
The entire space was designed like an indoor terrace, giving the impression of dining in a garden. Yeo Woong was enchanted by the fairy-tale-like scenery.
As Seol Ji Oh and Yeo Woong took their seats, a man approached with menus. Seol Ji Oh stood up with a smile and hugged the man.
“Hyung. Long time no see.”
“Yeah. How long’s it been?”
“Oh, Yeo Woong, this is Chef Kim Eun Suk—my close friend and a specialist in French cuisine.”
“Nice to meet you.”
“Wow, you’re stunning. How long have you and Ji Oh been—”
“Hyung! It’s not like that.”
Startled, the man looked back and forth between Yeo Woong and Seol Ji Oh.
“It’s not? I cleared the whole place assuming you two were on a date.”
He’d cleared the restaurant?
Only then did Yeo Woong realize there wasn’t a single other customer inside.
No wonder Seol Ji Oh had walked in so casually, while she’d been worried about running into other guests.
“We’re childhood friends. Just close friends.”
“Oh, I see. Feel free to chat. I told all my staff to come in late today.”
“You’re the best, hyung. Thanks.”
After the man returned to the kitchen, Seol Ji Oh turned to Yeo Woong and said,
“This is one of my favorite places—it’s seriously delicious. Do you like escargot?”
“No, I’ve never tried it.”
“Then I’ll order pasta and steak too, so just give it a taste. I’m sure you’ll like it.”
With a playful grin, Seol Ji Oh went to the kitchen to place the order himself. Soon, dishes began arriving at their table.
“French onion soup, tenderloin steak with seasonal vegetables, porcini mushroom cream pasta, and escargots cooked in herb butter. Enjoy.”
The chef served them with a gentle smile before disappearing back into the kitchen.
Yeo Woong picked up her fork, momentarily unsure which beautifully plated dish to try first. Seol Ji Oh took a special tong, extracted snail meat from its shell, and placed it onto her plate.
“Go ahead and try it.”
“Thank you.”
She popped it into her mouth, and Seol Ji Oh watched her intently, eager for her reaction.
Yeo Woong chewed slowly, savoring it. The escargot, with a texture similar to conch, was delicious, infused with rich notes of herbs and garlic.
“It’s really good!”
At her delighted words, Seol Ji Oh finally picked up his own fork and started eating.
“Then after moving out, you’ve never gone back to your old house even once?”
Yeo Woong nodded. She hadn’t had a reason to return, but honestly, thinking of that house always brought back memories of her late father, which made her uneasy.
“I am curious, though—what it looks like now.”

Dinner with Seol Ji Oh turned out to be quite satisfying.
After Yeo Woong paid and stepped outside, Seol Ji Oh approached her and said,
“That was great. Feels really nice being treated.”
Yeo Woong gave a small laugh and looked at him.
“I’ll treat you again. I’m about to start earning a lot of money now.”
“Oh, I’m excited. Looking forward to it. Shall we head over now? I asked them to tidy up, but it’s been so long—I wonder what it’s like.”
“Wow.”
Yeo Woong couldn’t help but sigh in awe as she gazed out the car window at Seol Ji Oh’s house. Thirteen years had passed, yet everything remained exactly the same.
After getting out of the car, she looked toward her old home too. It was just as she remembered.
Suddenly, a heavy pang struck her chest, and she froze in place.
Dazed by the unfamiliar feeling, she stared blankly at the house—until Seol Ji Oh came to stand beside her.
“How does it feel being back?”
“…It feels strange.”
Yeo Woong looked up at him. For a moment, she felt as if the houses hadn’t changed at all, yet the two of them had grown up in the blink of an eye. It almost felt like stepping back into the past.
With a gesture inviting her inside, Seol Ji Oh opened the gate.
The garden visible just past the entrance was unchanged. If anything, the trees had simply grown taller.
The table where they used to share snacks or tea as kids was still there, as was the stone stepping path.
Yeo Woong stopped in her tracks.
Until that very moment, she hadn’t given it much thought—but now that she’d actually stepped inside Seol Ji Oh’s house, an indescribable wave of nostalgia washed over her.
A complex mix of happiness and wistfulness.
Memories of the happy times she’d had in this neighborhood, of her family living comfortably without hardship, and of her father…
A hot lump rose in her throat.
She realized then—
She’d missed this place desperately.
“…Yeo Woong.”
At the sound of Seol Ji Oh’s voice, Yeo Woong turned to him, her eyes glistening slightly with tears. He looked a little startled and stepped closer.
“What’s wrong?”
His worried gaze helped her blink back her emotions.
“It’s nothing—just… I’m happy.”
Seol Ji Oh said nothing for a moment, just looked down at her—then gently took her hand.
“It’s cold. Let’s go inside.”
His large hand was warm. Yeo Woong watched his broad back as he walked ahead, holding her hand.
Somehow, that back seemed to be offering her comfort.
Once inside, Seol Ji Oh finally let go of her hand. Yeo Woong glanced down at her own, feeling the lingering absence of his warmth.
After a quick look around, Seol Ji Oh murmured, “It’s clean,” and sat down on the sofa.
True to his words, the house was spotless—but it felt strangely empty, devoid of any human warmth.
Suddenly curious, Yeo Woong asked,
“Do you just leave this house vacant? Where’s your mom?”
At her question, Seol Ji Oh paused briefly and looked at her.
After softly murmuring “Mother…”, he replied,
“She’s in America. She moved there permanently right after I debuted.”
Yeo Woong suddenly remembered—Seol Ji Oh’s mother, always so perfectly poised and upright.
Seol Ji Oh had never had a father.
There was a time when Yeo Woong, seeing how much he hated being alone, had asked him why he didn’t just move to America instead.
Back then, he’d firmly refused, saying he never wanted to live in America—he’d stay in Korea his whole life.
Yet now, Seol Ji Oh had become a famous actor who spent more than half the year overseas.
She smiled faintly to herself—this, too, was probably something only she knew.
After scanning the room, Yeo Woong asked,
“Can I look around?”
At Seol Ji Oh’s nod, she began slowly walking through the house.

Everything—the furniture, the decor—was exactly as she remembered. Smiling in wonder, she climbed the stairs to the second floor.
Seol Ji Oh’s room had probably been up here…
Seol Ji Oh watched silently as she ascended the stairs, her back lit with quiet joy as she tried to recall the past.
For the first time in a long while, he found the sight of Yeo Woong in this space deeply pleasing.
Male lead is a Divorced Husband
She said to him: “Tell me, what makes you like me? I’ll change it!”

Liu Changning transmigrated into a female cannon fodder character in a female-dominant novel.
After reading the first half of the novel’s plot, the first thing she did upon transmigration was to divorce the Pan Jinlian-style male protagonist she had just married.
She indulged herself, pretending to be ugly and poor.
But as time passed, the way that man looked at her became more and more unusual…
Liu Changning was dumbfounded: Tell me, what makes you like me? I’ll change!
――
This lifetime, Pei Yuanshao was rejected by the same woman twice!
The first time, she drove him away. Forced by the situation, he endured the waves of anger in his heart, yielding and humbling himself.
That person lay slanted on a rocking chair, her sallow face emotionless: “If you don’t want a divorce, go cook!”
Pei Yuanshao’s face was dark and gloomy: “You!”
The second time, after the crisis in Jinling City was resolved, the new emperor sent someone to pick him up. He turned around, stammering: “I… I have to go. If you keep me…”
That person lay on the kang bed, her back to him, as if she had long anticipated this day, crisp and clear: “Goodbye!”
Pei Yuanshao was so angry his fingers trembled: “You… you!”
The mission of family and country made him restrain himself, averting his eyes and turning to leave this broken household.
Two years later, they met again. Seeing her ethereal face, his body shook like a sieve.
“She was originally a ‘she’!”
At the Qionglin Banquet, the top scholar of the imperial examination, a talented person with exceptional speech and conduct, all the unmarried young gentlemen from aristocratic families looked at her with shy and timid eyes.
The peerless imperial official Pei Yuanshao felt the anger in his heart erupt. He pointed at the woman surrounded by the crowd at the Qionglin Banquet, his thin lips slightly curled: “Little sister, I wants that person to be the wife-master of my Mingde Prince Manor.”
