The World Star Who Seduced Me (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 16
Yeo Woong carefully opened the door to one of the many rooms, trying to recall the past.
“…That’s right.”
Feeling proud that her memory had served her well, Yeo Woong smiled.
All the furniture inside the room was covered with white cloths. It seemed this room hadn’t been used in quite some time.
As she looked around, Yeo Woong tried hard to remember what she and Seol Ji Oh had played here when they were little. She thought they’d come here fairly often as children, but after growing a bit older, she couldn’t recall entering this room much at all.
Just then, her eyes caught the window on the opposite wall.
Without any curtains hanging, Yeo Woong walked over and absentmindedly opened the window. The view that instantly appeared outside made her jump in surprise.
From Seol Ji Oh’s room, Yeo Woong’s own room was clearly visible—or rather, the room “Yeo Woong used to stay in.”
Yeo Woong tilted her head, puzzled. How had she never realized before that her room and Seol Ji Oh’s faced each other?
She’d never once seen Seol Ji Oh through that window.
Yet it was such a clear line of sight… How had she not known?
At that moment, Seol Ji Oh’s voice came from behind her.
“What are you doing in my room?”
Startled, Yeo Woong quickly turned around. Seol Ji Oh stood by the doorway, looking at her with his head tilted slightly. Flustered, Yeo Woong stammered out a weak excuse.
“Ah… I just remembered your room was around here somewhere…”
Seol Ji Oh gazed briefly at the open window behind her, then walked into the room. With his long strides, he was right in front of Yeo Woong in an instant, leaning toward her without warning.
Yeo Woong’s eyes widened as she instinctively stepped back, overwhelmed by the dizzying scent of Seol Ji Oh that suddenly filled her nose.
“Uh… um…”
She could’ve simply stepped aside, but in her shock, her feet seemed frozen in place. While Yeo Woong stood flustered, Seol Ji Oh reached out with his long arm, bringing it close to her face.
Just as Yeo Woong squeezed her eyes shut in panic, Seol Ji Oh stretched his arm past her and shut the window.
When she opened her eyes at the loud click of the closing window, she met his deep black eyes staring straight down at her.
Ah, the window…
Embarrassed, she wet her lips with her tongue as Seol Ji Oh spoke softly.
“You’ll catch a cold—it’s freezing out.”
His low whisper tickled her ear, and Yeo Woong suddenly realized just how close they were.
Moreover, since Seol Ji Oh hadn’t pulled his arm back from the window, it almost felt as if she were nestled within his embrace.
Not knowing what expression to wear, Yeo Woong quickly averted her gaze. Her heart was pounding wildly again.
Still holding her gaze, Seol Ji Oh said,
“Let’s go downstairs. There’s nothing worth seeing in my room anyway.”
Only then did he finally lower his arm. Yeo Woong watched dumbly as Seol Ji Oh turned and walked out of the room, and without realizing it, she let out the breath she’d been holding between her lips.
She covered her suddenly flushed face with her palms and blinked rapidly.
Could he be angry?
Though his tone had been calm, his eyes looking down at her had been noticeably colder than usual. And the way his lips stayed tightly pressed in a straight, unsmiling line bothered her.
She shouldn’t have entered his private space without permission…
Wetting her dry lips with her tongue, Yeo Woong decided she should apologize to Seol Ji Oh first.
When she went downstairs, Yeo Woong gently caught hold of Seol Ji Oh’s arm.
“I’m sorry.”
Seol Ji Oh turned to look at her, his expression completely unreadable.
“I’m sorry for entering your room without asking.”
Seol Ji Oh stared at her with a strange look in his eyes—then, after a moment, lifted the corners of his mouth and said,
“It’s fine. Do you want some tea?”
“Ah, sure.”
Yeo Woong watched his face carefully.
Was he really okay?
Without another word, Seol Ji Oh walked into the kitchen and skillfully opened a cabinet to take out some tea.
When he asked, “Is herbal tea okay?” Yeo Woong nodded.
While Seol Ji Oh filled the kettle and waited for the water to boil, Yeo Woong stared at his back.
He wore a thin knit sweater that clearly outlined his V-shaped torso—the broad shoulders and solidly muscled arms distinctly masculine.
Yeo Woong suddenly recalled that arm stretching past her side just moments ago.
Firm yet substantial…

As soon as that thought crossed her mind, she unintentionally let out a soft, awkward chuckle.
What the heck—what was I just thinking? That was so perverted!
Her eyes wide, Yeo Woong slapped both hands over her forehead.
Am I losing it, thinking stuff like that…?
Just as she scolded herself, her eyes caught sight of Seol Ji Oh’s back again. Watching his broad shoulders, she unconsciously swallowed—and immediately began rationalizing her thoughts.
It’s not my fault if someone sculpted like that, unrealistically handsome and built, keeps appearing right in front of me…
How can I help but keep looking?!
Just then, Seol Ji Oh approached with two teacups. Setting one down in front of her, he asked,
“What’s with that weird expression?”
“Huh?”
“I feel like I should hand you a mirror. Were you having some dirty thoughts or something?”
“Huh!”
Yeo Woong gasped in shock at his casual question, causing Seol Ji Oh’s expression to shift intriguingly.
“Seriously?”
Yeo Woong clamped her mouth shut and shook her head vigorously.
Seol Ji Oh barely managed to suppress a smile, then leaned toward her with playful eyes and pressed further.
“It’s just the two of us—if you were having dirty thoughts, does that mean I was the subject?”
Yeo Woong shook her head even more frantically. In response, Seol Ji Oh leaned closer and whispered,
“What did I do in your imagination, Yeo Woong?”
Unable to take it anymore, Yeo Woong practically screamed, her face burning bright red.
“Ugh, seriously! I didn’t! I really didn’t!”
“Heh.”
Feeling parched, Yeo Woong grabbed the tea in front of her and took a gulp. Seol Ji Oh blinked at her.
It hadn’t even been sitting out long—it should still be hot.
“Ow! It’s hot!!”
Yeo Woong writhed in pain after swallowing the scalding herbal tea—it was way too hot.
Though he tried not to laugh, Seol Ji Oh burst out laughing at her expression and quickly got her a glass of cold water.
“Geez, you’re killing me. Drink this, quick.”
His eyes even watery from laughter, Seol Ji Oh handed her the cold water. Yeo Woong gulped it down eagerly.
When she finished, she muttered with a blank, soul-departed stare.
“This is all your fault.”
“Mee?”
Caught off guard by Yeo Woong’s sudden switch to informal speech, Seol Ji Oh chuckled. He then sat down across from her, watching her with an amused smile.
“Is your palate okay?”
Yeo Woong shook her head. Her tongue and the roof of her mouth were both burned.
Why did the tea have to be that hot of all things?
She ran her tongue over her stinging palate.
Ugh. It stings.
“That’s what you get for having dirty thoughts.”
“Hey!!!”
Annoyed by his teasing tone, Yeo Woong instantly flared up.
It wasn’t like that at all, seriously!
Seeing her flushed and glaring at him, Seol Ji Oh just smiled.
Apparently finding his smirk irritating, Yeo Woong glared harder—until Seol Ji Oh, acknowledging the sharpness in her eyes, raised both hands in surrender.
Once Yeo Woong had calmed down a bit, Seol Ji Oh quietly smoothed his still-upturned lips and simply watched her. It had been so long since he’d laughed out loud like this.
Still sipping cold water with a grumpy expression, Yeo Woong suddenly felt a sense of déjà vu and blinked.
Right now, just like this—Seol Ji Oh teasing her with a smile while she got angry.
For a moment, Yeo Woong felt as if she’d been transported back to those days.
“Yeo Woong—”
At the sound of her name, Yeo Woong looked up. Seol Ji Oh’s dark eyes were fixed on her. The smile had faded from his face, and after calling her name, he stayed silent for a long while, lost in thought.

Wondering what he was about to say, Yeo Woong kept watching him—until he finally spoke.
“This might sound strange now…”
“…”
“Should we just drop the honorifics?”
Surprised by his unexpected suggestion, Yeo Woong blinked.
Drop the formal speech?
Earlier, she’d slipped into informal speech in a moment of frustration—but she’d never seriously considered using it with Seol Ji Oh regularly. It didn’t feel like they were that kind of relationship.
Since Seol Ji Oh had no childhood memories, Yeo Woong had always thought of herself less as his friend and more as someone simply helping him out a little with what he needed.
Plus, Seol Ji Oh now carried a completely different aura from their childhood—so unfamiliar that it felt odd to act casually just based on old memories.
Yet suddenly suggesting they speak informally… That sounded way too much like being close friends.
Was he trying to get a little closer?
Yeo Woong stared straight at Seol Ji Oh’s face.
Could it be… that we might become as close as we were back then, when we were friends?
Of course, as adults now, they were clearly very different from who they’d been then—but still, her heart fluttered strangely. It felt like the beginning of something entirely new.
Yeo Woong gave a small nod and opened her mouth.
“…Okay.”
At her single word, Seol Ji Oh grinned and stood up.
“Let’s go. I’ll drive you.”
His tone carried no awkwardness at all.

[Did filming end well?]Yeo Woong smiled without realizing it as she checked the message.
The sender was Seol Ji Oh. Ever since they’d visited his family home together recently, he’d been texting her like this occasionally.
[Yeah. I’m about to meet a friend now. What about you?]Today was her planned meet-up with Seo Ga Ram. Yeo Woong had driven to Seo Ga Ram’s apartment to pick her up.
As she tapped her fingers on the steering wheel waiting, her phone vibrated.
[I’ve got plans today too. Have a fun Friday.]Yeo Woong set her phone down with a smile. Ever since they’d started speaking informally, she’d felt closer to him.
If they kept hanging out like friends like this, maybe one day Seol Ji Oh would miraculously regain his memories.
Smiling at the vague hope, Yeo Woong chuckled.
Still, he always claimed Lucky was his only friend—so who could he possibly be meeting on a fabulous Friday night?
While lost in these thoughts, Seo Ga Ram emerged from the building entrance.
Yeo Woong gave a small smile at Seo Ga Ram’s extravagantly styled look, as dazzling as ever.
As Seo Ga Ram opened the car door and climbed in, Yeo Woong playfully covered her eyes with both hands.
“Ugh! You’re blinding me!”
“What? What? Do I look good today?”
“Yeah. You’re absolutely a goddess.”
Flattered by the compliment, Seo Ga Ram beamed and took off her fluffy fur jacket.
Underneath, she wore a leopard-print halter-neck knit top.
Yeo Woong’s eyes widened at the season-defying outfit—but remembering who she was sitting next to, she quickly nodded in understanding.
Seo Ga Ram had always loved being the center of attention.
Unconsciously, Yeo Woong smoothed down her own knit sweater, which came up to her neck.
Now that she thought about it, she’d never once dressed like Seo Ga Ram.
“Should I try styling myself like you sometime?”
At the sudden remark, Seo Ga Ram’s expression changed. After all, she’d always been the one urging Yeo Woong to dress up more.
“What’s gotten into you?! You’re actually saying you want to dress up? Great! Since it’s come up, let’s give it a try today!”
“Try?”
“Yeah! Get out. Let’s go to my place. Big sis is gonna dress you up properly today.”
Seo Ga Ram quickly put her jacket back on and stepped out of the car. Yeo Woong hadn’t meant to go that far, but caught off guard by Seo Ga Ram’s relentless enthusiasm, she followed her out of the car.
As they entered the apartment building, Yeo Woong grabbed Seo Ga Ram’s arm.

“I was just joking!”
“No way. You seriously need to be bolder. Even if it’s winter, don’t you get tired of wearing nothing but turtlenecks with coats or puffer jackets every day? On a hot Friday night like this, you can afford to be bold.”
Seo Ga Ram was firm. In the end, Yeo Woong found herself led all the way to Seo Ga Ram’s apartment.
Seo Ga Ram seated Yeo Woong in front of her vanity and pulled out eyeshadow palettes in dazzling colors. Yeo Woong just blinked, watching as Seo Ga Ram loomed over her.
Not knowing what Seo Ga Ram might do to her face, Yeo Woong’s heart pounded nervously.
“…”
After quite some time passed, Seo Ga Ram finished the makeup with a satisfied look. Yeo Woong stared into the mirror—and was startled by her reflection.
She hadn’t worn makeup this dramatic in ages.
As she marveled at her dramatically curled lashes, Seo Ga Ram said,
“Alright, time to try on some clothes!”
She pushed Yeo Woong toward the walk-in closet. Seeing Seo Ga Ram’s closet for the first time, Yeo Woong was amazed.
She’d never seen a closet filled with so many colorful outfits, neatly organized by type.
While Yeo Woong stood wide-eyed, taking in the sight, Seo Ga Ram came back with several outfits and laid them out in front of her.
But every single piece had holes, exposed shoulders, or was barely the size of a handkerchief. Yeo Woong gave an awkward smile and shook her head.
“Won’t it be too cold? It’s winter, you know?”
“This’ll look amazing on you. Just try it on and come out.”
Brushing off Yeo Woong’s concern, Seo Ga Ram shoved a black mini skirt and a bright blue off-shoulder knit into her hands.
Clearly amused by Yeo Woong’s panic, Seo Ga Ram grinned like a mischievous demon and urged her to change.
After Seo Ga Ram left the room, Yeo Woong sighed deeply—then reluctantly began putting on the clothes, as if forcing down bitter medicine.
When Yeo Woong finally came out dressed, Seo Ga Ram’s already-large eyes widened even more, and she clapped her hands excitedly.
“Wow! Now I see why people love dressing up dolls—it’s so fun!”
Grinning, Seo Ga Ram draped a short faux-fur coat over Yeo Woong’s shoulders.
Then, after stroking her chin in deep contemplation, she suddenly declared with conviction,
“No way. We’re going out right now!!”
