The Only Healer, Ruela (Completed Main Story) - Side Story 5
At Senhui’s words, the people no longer objected.
If this strange phenomenon and the mystery surrounding the children could be unraveled by obtaining those materials, they had to retrieve them—even if it meant facing danger.
“Let’s switch seats and move again. Ruela, Tien, and I will take the children to the very back seat. Mitchell, Raphael, and Senhui, please attack from the vehicle if monsters appear.”
No matter how fast the car was, they couldn’t simply flee blindly without knowing how the monsters attacked.
Thus, the best course was to inflict as much damage as possible on the monsters while moving—either knocking them off or killing them.
They quickly changed seats and set off once more.
Had it been about an hour since they’d started driving?
Just like before, a strange roar echoed, followed by a thud as something landed beside the van.
When they checked the map, they were relieved to find they’d gotten quite far from the carriage behind them.
While the long-range attackers unleashed their assaults through the opened sunroof and windows, Ruela opened a chat window to ask the others behind whether any monsters had appeared.
“Senhui was right. They say there’s been nothing unusual with the carriage.”
Senhui, who had been recklessly casting magic spells out the window, turned around smugly.
“See there? My words are never wrong—I never speak of things I don’t know. By the way, this is quite interesting. I thought it was just a strangely shaped carriage that ran silently, but it’s actually useful in many ways. It might be a good idea to install a roof hatch like this on our own carriage too—for easier attacks, of course.”
Even without him, the monsters hadn’t been particularly difficult to handle—but now that Grand Mage Senhui had joined in, they were dying before they could even land a few attacks.
“Aren’t you scared?”

Xin Jiao Zhou: “???”
He fell ill.
She came to see him, bringing breakfast.
As she put down the breakfast and was about to leave, his hand slipped while holding the spoon. “Clank!”
She turned around upon hearing the noise.
He looked up at her, his eyebrows drooping: “My hand… has no strength.”
“Shall I… feed you?” she asked tentatively.
He opened his mouth cheerfully: “Ah—”
Thinking she was drowning, he jumped in without hesitation to save her, but nearly drowned himself. In the end, it was she who swam over to rescue him, giving him air underwater.
After emerging from the water, his ear tips turned red. He lightly brushed his cheek, tucking his sideburns behind his ear, revealing delicate, pink-tinged ear tips. He lowered his gaze, too embarrassed to look at her.

I didn’t like the novel; it was too fast-paced and skipped ahead. It might be suitable for those who enjoy fast-paced novels; the beginning is enjoyable as the levels and tasks increase, but it becomes very boring as you progress. I waited a long time for a romance chapter, and I was very disappointed. I don’t feel that the characters like each other. I rate it 5/10.
