The ruins were quite extensive, likely because the fire that consumed the temple had spread to the surrounding area.

Since they didn’t know exactly where the temple had stood, they’d been wandering around while receiving a history lesson from Hazen when suddenly a quest completion notification popped up.

Ruela opened her skill window to check the Party Recall skill.

[Teleports party members to a designated location. Usable once every 30 minutes.]

Reading the description confirmed it was exactly as she’d known before.

Ruela turned toward Hazen and Tien with a haughty smile.

“Well then, now that we’ve acquired a useful skill, we should test it out, shouldn’t we?”

“A test? Haven’t we already used it before?”

Hazen and Tien stared at Ruela with deeply wary expressions.

“Enough talk—just follow me. I may have used it before, but that was in another world. Here, I’ve only just learned it. It’s only natural to test a skill right after learning it.”

“But it’s teleportation magic, isn’t it? I’ve heard stories of people whose souls and bodies separated after attempting such magic in the old days. If you’re going to try it, do it alone.”

Hazen recoiled in horror from Ruela, and Tien quickly followed suit, nodding in agreement.

“Y-yeah, that’s probably best. There’s no need for all three of us to try it, right?”
