The Only Healer, Ruela (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 143
“It seems unlikely we can immediately uncover the culprit who killed Count Tamare and his household. But I will surely find the perpetrator and punish those who murdered innocent people and tried to frame the Crown Prince.”
The king gestured to Kite and Ruela to stand beside him, then continued speaking.
“In any case, it now appears all those rumors were false. I ask you all to congratulate the Crown Prince and Lady Romnin, who will become Crown Princess, for having completed all their tasks and returned.”
As soon as the king finished speaking, Duke Patre stepped forward and bowed deeply to Kite.
“Your Highness, congratulations. It fills me with regret that you’ve returned with good tidings after such a long journey only to encounter this unfortunate incident. I, Patre, will never let the tragedy of House Tamare pass unaddressed. As Your Majesty has said, I shall take the lead in doing my utmost to find the culprit. I trust the nobles will follow my lead and move as one.”
At Duke Patre’s shameless preemptive move, Kite’s lips twisted slightly.
He was utterly disgusted by the sight of someone volunteering to catch the culprit merely to conceal his own guilt.
Yet, unless someone had actually seen his face at the time of the incident, there was no way to accuse Duke Patre here and now.
In the end, Kite smiled gently and said to Duke Patre,
“It’s reassuring that you’re stepping forward, Your Grace. But without anyone having seen the culprit’s face, can you really find him? I worry you might harm your own reputation by taking this on needlessly. Isn’t it your pride—and the reason others respect you—that you always complete any task you undertake flawlessly, no matter what?”
“Oh, Your Highness worries too much. Who else but Duke Patre himself? Surely he won’t fail to find the culprit—he holds all of Helane’s intelligence in his hands. He’s precisely the right person to entrust with this matter, isn’t he, Your Grace?”
At Hazen’s words, Duke Patre’s expression stiffened slightly, but he quickly smiled and replied,
“I’m quite surprised that Duke Erme thinks so highly of me. I’ll do my utmost not to disappoint such expectations. After all, isn’t it enough simply to find the culprit?”
“‘After all’? You wouldn’t possibly consider naming some innocent person as the culprit, would you? Of course Duke Patre would never do something so absurd—it must just be my own unnecessary worry.”
Seeing Hazen smirking while blocking his scheme, Duke Patre’s previously relaxed expression instantly turned cold.

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).
5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!

I didn’t like the novel; it was too fast-paced and skipped ahead. It might be suitable for those who enjoy fast-paced novels; the beginning is enjoyable as the levels and tasks increase, but it becomes very boring as you progress. I waited a long time for a romance chapter, and I was very disappointed. I don’t feel that the characters like each other. I rate it 5/10.
