Delia brought the entire bottle to her mouth and began gulping down the liquor.
As the golden liquid flowed down her throat, the oppressive tightness in her chest seemed to unravel refreshingly.
Delia smiled contentedly and wiped the liquor from the corner of her mouth with her robe sleeve.
Aaron, watching Delia’s innocent expression, placed a piece of meat into her mouth.
“Just accept reality. Life becomes easier that way. Why struggle so desperately?”
“I could never live like that. I could never live by giving up Iorenti.”
Delia exhaled deeply, as if expelling something lodged deep within her lungs.
Her faint breath, mingled with the sweet scent of fruit, seeped into the night air.
“There’s nothing in this world that’s absolutely impossible. You’ll adjust quickly enough.”
“But even for an enemy—how can you say that so easily?”
Delia furrowed her brow deeply and spoke to Aaron.
“I hate you most of all, Commander.”
Aaron shrugged his shoulders and replied.
“Because we’re enemies. It’s only natural for enemies to hate each other. That’s all.”
“I really hate you—I hate you so much I could die.”
An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.

If the fate of the crown prince is unknown, why would they send away the only other heir?
Does the queen really think Delia would be better off in Boswell? She should know better. Whether enemy or ally, Delia would be treated as an object and used for her relation to the throne and ability to bear children. At least this way Delia can not only be happy but retain her dignity. Or is the queen perhaps grieving that her son will be deposed and wants to send Delia away so there is noone to replace the crown prince?
