The Mad Commander is Obsessive (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 17
Delia stuffed a piece of meat into her mouth, chewed noisily, and grumbled.
“I already told you my name. I gave it to you because you kept begging—so why do you keep calling me ‘prisoner’?”
“To remind you.”
“Remind me of what?”
“That you keep forgetting you’re a prisoner. So you won’t forget you’re a prisoner.”
Delia tilted her head with a puzzled expression, clearly unable to understand.
“I remember perfectly well. I’ve been behaving like a proper prisoner, too.”
Aaron let out a hollow laugh.
“Out of all the wars I’ve fought, you’re the first prisoner I’ve seen who acts so willfully.”
At Aaron’s reproach, Delia frowned.
“I haven’t moved an inch, stayed locked up, been dragged along hunting trips I didn’t even want to go on, and even spent entire nights tightly bound by those insane ropes. Seriously—how could I possibly be a better prisoner than this?”
“You order me to pick flowers for you, threaten me with a sword saying you’ll kill the commander, and bluff your way through everything. Where in the world do you find a prisoner like you?”
At Aaron’s words, Delia pouted her lips.
The firelight caught Delia’s red lips, making them appear even redder.
As the night deepened, the campfire burned ever brighter.

Crazy blanket.
First the commander was a rope and now he is a blanket.

Good job Del! Looks like in the end she has won the wager.
If the fate of the crown prince is unknown, why would they send away the only other heir?
Does the queen really think Delia would be better off in Boswell? She should know better. Whether enemy or ally, Delia would be treated as an object and used for her relation to the throne and ability to bear children. At least this way Delia can not only be happy but retain her dignity. Or is the queen perhaps grieving that her son will be deposed and wants to send Delia away so there is noone to replace the crown prince?
