Saved Him, Now I'm Obsessed (10 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 22
Jane always paid close attention to Ian taking his medicine, saying he had to take it diligently to avoid having his lifespan shortened. Ian, too, hated the pain that occasionally struck him, so he obediently swallowed the medicine she prepared without a word. But now, there was no longer any need for that.
A world without her held no meaning whatsoever.
He neither ate nor slept, staring only at the glass case containing Jane’s remains until he finally collapsed from exhaustion.
Every time he lost consciousness, he had dreams.
His dreams, once ambiguous, were growing increasingly vivid—perhaps because he had stopped taking his medicine. Sometimes he saw the past; sometimes the future.
Some of what he saw had already happened, while other things had not yet occurred. Ian wished only to wander endlessly through these dreams, for it was only there—if not always, then at least sometimes—that he could see Jane whole and complete.
“But it really is strange. They say this charred lump is Jane… then why in my dream are you smiling?”
The dream he’d had just a short while ago was clearer than any before. It was clearly something that had not yet happened.
In the dream, Ian found himself in the Imperial Banquet Hall. The room was packed with people, yet he stood dazed, staring blankly ahead.
There was Jane. For some reason, she knelt at the Emperor’s feet.
Ian was bewildered—Jane had never once met the Emperor in person. Since this couldn’t be something from the past, the dream must surely be showing him the future.
But how could she, who was already dead, be kneeling at the Emperor’s feet? Why would she…?
Soon, the Emperor rose and left, and she stood up from her kneeling position. Their eyes met. Jane stood there, clearly startled, facing him directly.
She looked different from the Jane he knew. Her face was still vibrant and full of life, just as he remembered—but her attire was unlike anything she’d ever worn.
Instead of her usual tightly bound single ponytail, her long hair cascaded in soft curls, adorned on both sides with pearl-and-velvet hairpins.

After Being Cheated On, She Picked Up a Treasure (Female-dominant)
One-line summary: The husband I married on a whim had been secretly in love with me for a long time.
On the day when Jun Shao finally obtained the imperial decree for her marriage, Lan Qu, the person she had admired for six years, defied the decree and ran away.
Her gentleness and devotion, her promise of a lifetime together, were all disregarded by him. Instead, he dreamed of entering the palace to serve the Emperor’s sister as a sixth-rank attendant.
News of this incident spread throughout the capital, and the alleys in front of and behind the Lan mansion were crowded with people who came to watch the commotion.
Jun Shao should have been embarrassed and angry.
But someone stepped in to protect her dignity.
The figure was in a miserable state, yet still possessed an undeniable elegance and handsomeness.
The young lord struggled to climb the wall of the Lan mansion and shouted to her, “If he won’t marry you, I will!”
So, Jun Shao took advantage of the situation and married the person.
She thought the young lord did it to save the Lan family from the crime of defying the imperial decree, but never imagined that from beginning to end, what he coveted was her.
*
After the wedding, Jun Shao felt like she was living in a dream.
Her Wife-master was as beautiful as a fairy in a painting, skilled in the six arts, well-versed in poetry and literature, capable of being gentle and attentive, and also grand and dignified. Most importantly, she was the only one in his heart and eyes.
Jun Shao didn’t know how Lan Shiwu, as a illegitimate son without a father and blessed with beauty, had managed to preserve his purity, recklessly escape, and use his last ounce of strength to ruin his own reputation, all because of his love for her, just to stand before her.
She could only see him gazing at her with eyes full of love, and when she bestowed a name upon him, his eyes shone like stars.
“You have come to me like a weary bird perching on a branch. I shall call you A Qi.”
