Arabella had no leisure to savor the taste of the ripe peach she’d just bitten into.
Trying not to dwell on this dizzying situation, she chewed diligently, crushing the fruit into juice. Spotting a fork and spoon beside the fruit tray, she hastily picked up the spoon.
As she turned away from the Emperor and brought the utensil toward her mouth, a large hand seized her wrist. Startled, she stared at the Emperor with wide eyes, but he merely spoke in a calm, indifferent tone.
“In the cave, you didn’t use a spoon. It might be best to replicate that exact moment as closely as possible. After all, we don’t yet know how the juice interacted with your hand.”
She couldn’t even reply, her mouth full of peach juice. Arabella’s eyes began to tremble, lost and uncertain.
Back then, she’d been in utter disarray—and besides, it had been the Black Panther. The man before her now was His Majesty the Emperor. As Arabella, who had been staring down at her own hand, lifted her head, the Emperor’s captivating face loomed close enough to touch.
Tilting his head slightly, the Emperor gazed at her lips and murmured softly,
“Must I feed you with my hands? Couldn’t there be another way? Your lips are part of your body too—they should produce the same effect. Or perhaps, since I’m delivering it directly… it might work even faster.”
The Emperor extended his thumb and gently wiped away a droplet of juice that had escaped the corner of Arabella’s lips. Bringing his thumb to his own lips to taste it, he leaned forward, his long neck extending toward her.
Surely there was no alcohol in the peach… Yet, her mind growing hazy, Arabella lifted her gaze to look at the Emperor.
As his crimson eyes filled her vision, hundreds of butterflies fluttered wildly within her chest. Startled by the sudden racing of her heart, Arabella pressed both hands firmly against her chest.
The Emperor’s warm breath spread softly over Arabella’s lips. Without realizing it, her eyes slowly closed—and in her flustered state, she swallowed the peach juice.
Only then did she jolt awake as if from a dream, leaping upright from the bed.
The Emperor spoke in a low, slightly hoarse voice,
“Oh dear. It seems we must start over.”
An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).

I’m not yet convinced this is a curse. There are a lot of questionable events. Why would a black panther kidnap a princess?
I’ve been wondering just how he intends to keep her alive and unharmed enough to even attempt lifting the curse. I don’t believe these classes will be enough if she only had four days.
Is she not concerned because the emperor told her she wasn’t going to become the empress regardless? He explicitly stated she only needed to break his curse & that she wouldn’t become the empress as she wasn’t qualified (I don’t recall his precise wording).
