“Go away. You’re embarrassing me.”

“What did I do that’s so embarrassing? And besides, as a nobleman, are you even allowed to use such vulgar language?”

“You just used it yourself.”

“But I was originally a commoner.”

Dillon stared at him, dumbfounded by such an absurd retort, but Harold simply ignored him and strode off briskly.

“Wait, let’s go together!”

Worried he might get lost as the distance between them grew, Dillon hurriedly caught up.

Dillon’s mouth, which had barely closed after Harold’s scolding, fell open again the moment they arrived at the Empress’s garden. The sight before him—like an ocean filled not with seawater but with roses—left him utterly awestruck.

“This doesn’t feel like a garden—it feels like heaven.”

Harold turned away with a soft chuckle at Dillon’s foolish remark. Though the garden truly was beautiful enough to deserve such praise, that was all it was to him. He preferred dense forests filled with lush green trees over gardens blooming with flowers.
