Interest Compounds on Revenge (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 63
Lea agonized and worried greatly before finally deciding to meet Teresa. Of course, she was genuinely afraid as well.
Yet, she couldn’t simply avoid it—her business depended on maintaining a crucial relationship with her.
More than anything, a quiet sense of pity for Teresa slowly welled up deep within her heart.
‘Lea Hamilton, are you meddling again?’
If it were merely meddling, that would be fine—but her counterpart was the Empress of Galdensia, and falling out of her favor would only bring Lea harm. Thus, she had to make a monumental decision in a very short time.
“If you’re not eager to die, then leave.”
Teresa spoke in a flat, emotionless tone.
To have come all the way here under her own power, only to stand before her now like a frightened rabbit blinking wide-eyed—was she hoping to grovel and beg for forgiveness? If so, sending her away quickly would be the wisest course.
“Your Majesty, I still believe I’ve done nothing wrong.”
Lea summoned her courage.
“I merely picked up your fallen veil to return it—surely that isn’t a crime deserving of having my tongue cut out.”
“So you’ve come to reprimand me? Did you think I was some twisted, abrasive person you needed to confront?”
“No. Every human being has secrets they cannot speak of, wounds they don’t wish exposed, or vulnerabilities as sensitive as a bomb’s trigger—touch them, and everything explodes.”
At Lea’s words, Teresa set down the wine glass she’d been holding onto the table. She gave a weary laugh, crossed her arms, and stared intently at Lea.
“You’ve lost all sense of fear. Is it because you trust your fiancé that you dare act so brazenly before me?”

Male lead is a clingy little husband
One-line summary: The male lead is initially an arrogant, noble, love-deprived brat, later a cute, clingy, scheming little jealous one.

Introduction:
One day, Lu Yuner’s soul transmigrates into a female-dominant world. She enters the Imperial Academy and takes up the position of a doctoral instructor, teaching classes and grading schoolwork.
One day, she encounters the young prince Su Qingwan secretly skipping class from the male academy.
As a result, Su Qingwan is punished.
From then on, Su Qingwan sees Lu Yuner as a “thorn in his side”.
But before long, this “thorn” becomes the person he cherishes most, and he goes to great lengths to win Lu Yuner’s affection.
Mini scene 1:
One day, the sun is high in the sky but Su Qingwan still hasn’t gotten up for class.
Servant Xiaoyuan: “Young prince, it’s time for class. You’ll be late otherwise.”
Su Qingwan says arrogantly: “I’m not going. I am the esteemed prince, my status is so noble, why should I suffer this hardship? Besides, isn’t learning all this just to please women? Hmph, they’re not worthy!”
Mini scene 2:
After Su Qingwan falls for someone, he completely changes. He no longer skips class and diligently learns how to be a good husband and father. But he discovers that Sister Yuner is always surrounded by admirers.
Drunk and overcome with jealousy one day, he clings to Lu Yuner, crying beautifully like a pear blossom in the rain.
Su Qingwan: “Qingwan likes Sister Yuner.”
Lu Yuner: “Young prince, you’re drunk.”
Su Qingwan: “Qingwan isn’t drunk. Qingwan likes Sister Yuner, likes you so much, likes you to bits…” Before he can finish, Lu Yuner’s eyes flash with emotion and she leans in closer.
[Reading Guide]
1. The female lead is gentle, gracious, humble and polite but not weak. The male lead is initially an arrogant, noble, love-deprived brat, later a cute, clingy, scheming little jealous one.
2. 1v1, a bit torturous in the beginning but definitely sweet later on.

I don’t understand, if she is trying to save the twins, why is she putting a gun to her head? She needs to be alive for the twins to survive.
This is sounding less like a punishment and more like a privilege.
Sometimes this novel’s inability to reflect anything close to realism frustrates me. Let’s reward arson and attempted murder! (Can’t help but point out the lack of creativity with Mr. Baker’s name.)
