Interest Compounds on Revenge (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 64
Lea saw Terren standing right outside the door as soon as she stepped out of the reception room.
Without hesitation, she leapt into his arms. Her heart still raced wildly, and the lingering excitement made it hard to steady herself.
“I was about to kick the door down if you’d been any later.”
Terren whispered, burying his face in Lea’s thick golden hair.
“You finished your talk with Her Majesty well.”
She didn’t explain the details of what had transpired to Terren. After all, he’d just bombard her with a torrent of nagging like a sudden downpour.
‘I must succeed—for Terren’s sake.’
Lea lifted her head and gazed into his shimmering black eyes.
“What do you expect me to do when you stare at me like that?”
“Huh?”
“I want to devour you.”
“Not a chance until my signature fills every grape.”
Lea shook her head firmly, shattering his fantasy. Instead, she gently extended her hand and spoke in a soft tone.
“Let’s dance.”
“Will you sign if we dance?”

Male lead is a Love-Obsessed Merman
When he discovers she has gone, he risks everything to pursue her on land, enduring agonizing pain to transform his tail into human legs…

One-line summary: Male lead chases female lead. The male lead’s love is a bit sick, an invincible love brain.
Synopsis
During a voyage at sea, Jiang Yang accidentally captures a merman.
Servant: I heard that mermen are fierce and brutal.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman obediently rubbing her palm like a puppy: “You call this fierce and brutal?”
Servant: I heard that mermen have no human nature.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman with wet puppy eyes, obsessively calling her ‘A Yang’ like a childish infant: “You call this having no human nature?”
With great difficulty, she releases the merman back into the sea and returns to shore.
Who would have thought that in less than half a month, the merman, who should have been freely wandering in the South China Sea, would shed his scales, endure the pain of losing his tail, transform into human legs, and come ashore to find her?
He kneels at her feet, rubbing her palm, with merman tears rolling down: “A Yang, don’t abandon me.”

I don’t understand, if she is trying to save the twins, why is she putting a gun to her head? She needs to be alive for the twins to survive.
This is sounding less like a punishment and more like a privilege.
Sometimes this novel’s inability to reflect anything close to realism frustrates me. Let’s reward arson and attempted murder! (Can’t help but point out the lack of creativity with Mr. Baker’s name.)
