Impure Wedding Night (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 7
Na Ri sat in front of Lee Hyun, looking intrigued.
“I heard you asked for the guest list from that night’s party?”
“That’s correct.”
“It’s personal information, so it’s a bit difficult for us to just hand it over.”
Seeing Na Ri draw a firm line, Ye Rin inwardly cheered.
‘Yes, keep insisting you absolutely can’t give it out.’
Lee Hyun, however, didn’t back down easily.
“Could I at least see a list of women in their mid-to-late twenties with short, blonde hair—someone matching the description I gave?”
“Could you first tell me why you’re looking for her?”
Ye Rin gulped.
Lee Hyun tilted his head slightly and replied,
“There’s something I didn’t get to finish saying to her.”
“What exactly do you need from her?”
“It doesn’t seem like something I should discuss with CEO Kim Na Ri.”
Hearing Lee Hyun’s icy tone, Na Ri backed off a step.
“And I have something I need to get from her as well.”
“Did you suffer any financial loss, perhaps?”
“You could say that, yes.”
Ye Rin’s eyes widened in shock at Lee Hyun’s calm, matter-of-fact remark.
Financial loss?
They’d only spent one night together.
She’d left the suite quickly without even touching a single thing of his—how on earth could he have suffered any loss?
She nearly blurted out, “I never did anything like that!” out of sheer injustice.
Na Ri glanced quickly at Ye Rin and spoke gently,
“Then I’ll ask permission from our attendees first, and once I get their consent, I’ll send you the list.”
Clearly dissatisfied, Lee Hyun just stared coldly at Na Ri.
“Just hand it over now. If anyone raises an issue about this, we’ll handle it on our end.”
“No. Since it’s personal information, I can’t simply give it to you.”
“CEO Kim Na Ri, do you perhaps already know who that woman is?”
“Excuse me?”
“It seems like you know exactly who she is—that’s why you’re hiding her so tightly.”
Na Ri unconsciously glanced back at Ye Rin, who stood behind Lee Hyun.
“I believe the list of attendees at that charity bazaar was already published in the press.”
“Yes, that’s right.”
Since everyone had participated in the bazaar for publicity, each company rushed to issue press releases highlighting their charitable acts.
A large group photo of all attendees was prominently featured in news articles, and the full guest list was also publicly released.
Lee Hyun was requesting the list to cross-check, in case someone had been left out of those reports.
Na Ri cautiously asked,
“Was the woman you’re looking for perhaps missing from that group photo?”
“She was the only one not in it.”
“….”
Well, of course.
Ye Rin hadn’t attended the bazaar, so naturally she wouldn’t be in the group photo.
Lee Hyun rubbed his eyebrow slowly with his index finger, clearly puzzled.
“Why was she the only one missing?”
Feeling uneasy, Na Ri quickly replied,
“She must have briefly stepped away when the group photo was taken.”
“Then I’ll take that as your agreement to hand over the list.”
Lee Hyun stood up, as if his business was done.
He turned toward Ye Rin, who stood behind him, and said,
Trending
“Secretary Han, please receive the list and start contacting people right away.”
Lee Hyun left the meeting room, and the door clicked shut behind him.
Na Ri looked utterly baffled.
“I’ll explain everything later. Just remember—you do know it’s me, right?”
“Of course. Obviously.”
Quick-witted as she was, Na Ri must have instantly realized that the woman Lee Hyun was searching for was Ye Rin.
She was genuinely curious about what exactly had happened that night to make him so determined.
“I should go now—I can’t keep the Managing Director waiting too long.”
“Got it. Call me.”
Even after leaving Cheto’s office building, the uneasy feeling wouldn’t fade.
If anything, her anxiety had only grown stronger.
[This is the timeline separator]It was already well past regular working hours.
Only Ye Rin and Lee Hyun remained in the office.
She couldn’t focus at all and hadn’t finished a single task—including the summary report Lee Hyun had asked her to prepare.
“Still, it’s my first assignment—I should at least get this right.”
After all, she couldn’t possibly help him find the woman he was so desperately seeking.
Ye Rin glanced at the tightly shut door of the Managing Director’s office and forced herself to concentrate.
Some time passed.
Then someone tapped sharply on Ye Rin’s desk.
She slowly looked up to find Lee Hyun’s handsome face filling her view.
“Managing Director?”
“You didn’t seem to hear me calling.”
“Oh—I’m sorry.”
Ye Rin immediately stood up from her seat.
“Do you need me for something?”
Lee Hyun tilted his head slightly, hands tucked into his suit pants pockets.
“Are you planning to eat dinner before working?”
Caught off guard by the unexpected question, Ye Rin couldn’t respond quickly—she felt like a malfunctioning robot.
“Secretary Han, was my question that difficult?”
“No—I haven’t eaten dinner yet…”
“Let’s go.”
“Excuse me?”
Lee Hyun let out a quiet sigh.
“I’d rather not hear people say I made my secretary quit on her first day by starving her.”
“That won’t happen.”
Whether he heard her reply or not,
Lee Hyun turned and walked out of the secretary’s office alone again.
With no choice, Ye Rin followed him.
[This is the timeline separator]Ye Rin offered to drive, but Lee Hyun ignored her completely and took the wheel himself.
As a secretary, it was her first time riding in a car driven by her superior—strange and somewhat uncomfortable.
She assumed they’d go to a nearby restaurant, but his car kept moving farther and farther from the office.
“Managing Director, weren’t we going to have dinner?”
“We are.”
After driving for a while, Lee Hyun pulled into a place that felt all too familiar.
‘Why here…?’
Ye Rin instinctively gripped her seatbelt tightly.
Lee Hyun entered KK Hotel, handed his car to the valet, and headed toward the lobby.
‘Out of all the places in the city, why here of all places?’

KK Hotel was exactly where she and Lee Hyun had shared that heated night.
‘He couldn’t have come here on purpose, could he?’
There were plenty of hotels near the office—this wasn’t the only option.
There were countless other places to have dinner, too.
Unable to decipher his intention, Ye Rin hurried after him.
After pressing the elevator button, Lee Hyun turned fully toward Ye Rin and stared intently at her.
“Why do you think I came here, Secretary Han?”
“I’m not sure.”
“I first met her here.”
“….”
Right on cue, the elevator arrived, and the two stepped inside.
It was late, so there were no other passengers.
Being alone together like this brought back that night vividly.
That night when they’d stood so close in the elevator, feeling each other’s body heat so clearly.
Just remembering it brought back a flood of sensations and thoughts.
That night, she’d first realized how such cold eyes could hold such burning desire.
And that such a cold mouth could speak such tender words.
Ding—
The elevator arrived at the rooftop restaurant.
“This place…”
It was where she and Lee Hyun had first met.
Though the tables had been rearranged for the after-party that night and now looked different, the familiarity of the space made her tense.
Noticing Ye Rin’s unease, Lee Hyun looked intrigued.
“Have you been here before?”
“No?”
She never knew lying could be this difficult.
Trying hard to appear unaffected, Ye Rin stepped out of the elevator first.
Lee Hyun’s steady gaze followed her from behind.
As she walked into the rooftop area, Ye Rin tightened her legs, trying to steady herself.
But then her foot caught on something, and her body wobbled.
‘Ugh—if I trip and fall here of all places, how embarrassing would that be?’
Just as that thought crossed her mind,
she expected to hit the cold floor—but instead, a warm hand caught her around the waist.
And an all-too-familiar scent brushed against her nose.
‘No way…’
Ye Rin slowly lifted her eyelids.
Right in front of her, as expected, was Lee Hyun’s chiseled face.
“Managing Director?”
Lee Hyun held her waist, his dark eyes unreadable as he stared directly at her.
Thump-thump—
Her heart began pounding wildly.
Was it because they were standing so close?
Or was it the familiar scent coming from him?
Either way, that night came rushing back so naturally.
“You’re so beautiful—what am I supposed to do?”
“You make it impossible to look away.”
“Since you’re the one who made me feel this way, you should take responsibility for it too.”
His low whisper from that night echoed in her ears as if he were speaking right above her now.
Ye Rin unconsciously squeezed her eyes shut.
Though it was just one night, it was unforgettable for her too.

She took a breath, then slowly opened her eyes again.
Lee Hyun was still watching her with those deep, intense eyes.
“Managing Director, you should… let go of me.”
“Secretary Han, no matter how I think about it, you seem very familiar—like I’ve seen you somewhere before.”
There it was again—those words.
Ye Rin pushed Lee Hyun away with both hands and straightened her posture.
“It’s most likely because we’ve passed each other often at the office…”
“No. It feels like I saw you somewhere else.”
“…”
Her heart began racing like crazy at his words.
To hide her trembling eyes, Ye Rin dropped her gaze to the floor.
Thankfully, he hadn’t stated it outright—just sounded like he was testing the waters.
‘He must think I just look similar to her…’
That meant she had to be even firmer here.
Without meeting his eyes, Ye Rin spoke,
“I guess I have a pretty common look—I often get told I resemble someone else.”
He didn’t reply.
Just as she wondered what to say if he kept pressing her,
“Then if Secretary Han says so, I suppose it’s true.”
Lee Hyun turned and walked away without a hint of hesitation.
Phew.
Ye Rin let out a deep breath and walked toward the rooftop restaurant once more.
Inside, the table arrangement looked completely different from that night.
A staff member guided them to a corner table.
‘Of all places—it’s the exact spot where I shared champagne with the Managing Director.’
Though it was probably just coincidence, even such small details kept her senses on high alert.
As soon as Ye Rin stood nearby, Lee Hyun looked up at her and called her in a smooth, pleasant baritone,
“What are you waiting for? Come sit already.”
His lips curled lazily upward—
just like that night when he’d seduced her.
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
