If You Want A Cheeky Seductress (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 7
Cain thought his twin brother spoke far too harshly, but since it was the truth, he couldn’t argue against it.
He hadn’t seen the slave brand on Roxiana’s body with his own eyes. However, being locked inside a slaver’s crate meant she must have borne the slave mark somewhere on her body.
Though the Grand Duchy of Torkan had outlawed slavery, the institution still existed in other countries across the continent—even in Khanta, Roxiana’s own Kingdom of Khanta.
No matter how noble one’s lineage, the moment the slave brand was stamped upon them, any hope of social advancement vanished.
“Remember the story about the House of Marquis Patran from the Kingdom of Bionique? Even though Marquis Patran adored his daughter so dearly, he killed her as soon as he saw the slave brand.”
Hearing Adrian’s words, Cain recalled that incident.
It had happened two years ago. The young lady of House Patran had been kidnapped by bandits while on vacation and was rescued months later. At the time, she had been serving as a night attendant to a count from another country.
Marquis Patran, who had even been willing to take his daughter back despite her lost purity, drew his sword in tears the moment he saw the slave brand on her back—because a noble house could never harbor a slave.
“Marquis Patran avenged his daughter by killing the count, but the princess of Khanta has no family left to avenge her… And if Gania finds out she’s still alive, they won’t leave her in peace—so she won’t even be able to settle in one place. It would’ve been better if she’d just died with her family.”
Adrian’s words were cold, yet true.
Cain remained silent, hesitating, when Hexton slapped the back of Adrian’s head.
“Why’d you hit me? Do you want to die?”
“You really have a talent for saying terrible things, Riann.”
“Didn’t I tell you not to call me ‘Riann’?”
Adrian hated his nickname—it sounded far too feminine. While Adrian and Hexton bickered, Arsen, who had diligently finished his duties and returned upstairs, frowned as he watched them.
“Have you been drinking, Hexton?”
Hexton merely shrugged his shoulders. Arsen sighed and said,
“Try to refrain from drinking while on duty. We’ve more or less wrapped things up here, so let’s head back.”

She heard a familiar voice.
“Sister, even after you marry, I’ll visit you often. If Crown Prince Lucas Felur ever mistreats you, I’ll scold him myself.”
Hearing that earnest voice, Roxiana smiled. My youngest, my beloved little brother Lanien.
Roxiana, who had always been treated as the childish youngest sister, had been overjoyed when her younger brother Lanien was born. Unlike her mischievous older brothers, she had vowed to be kind and a good elder sister to Lanien.
When his tiny, chubby hand tightly grasped Roxiana’s index finger, she thought she could even die for this child—even though Roxiana herself was still young.
“But why are you the only one alive, sister? I’m already dead.”
That resentful voice struck Roxiana sharply. Only then did reality crash down upon her, crushing her completely.
Right—my family is dead. My little brother, whom I was supposed to protect, is also dead. I’m the only one who survived. While my family died beneath cold blades, I was safely praying somewhere, completely unaware.
Overwhelmed by unbearable grief and despair, her mind suddenly snapped awake.
The first thing she saw was a white ceiling—a ceiling adorned with a scene from myth, its edges meeting the walls decorated with intricate carvings.
Next, she felt the soft embrace of a plush bed and the gentle texture of fragrant blankets.
For just a fleeting moment, Roxiana felt as if she had returned to the past—to Idel Palace, to her own chamber, the room of Princess Roxiana Franche, furnished and decorated with only the finest things.
So, had everything been a dream?
Her family’s deaths, being thrown into the well, the slave brand stamped upon her, nearly being sold away inside a small crate—
Had it all just been a terrible nightmare?
“You’re awake. Is there anywhere you feel uncomfortable?”
The faint hope that had briefly blossomed shattered at the sound of an unfamiliar voice. Roxiana slowly turned her head to stare at the man sitting beside her bed.
He had deep brown hair tied in a high bun and gentle brown eyes, watching her quietly. She had never seen this face in Idel Palace before.
Therefore, this wasn’t Idel Palace. She wasn’t in the Kingdom of Khanta or the Grand Temple—she was somewhere else entirely, and her family was dead.
Despair gripped her heart. Sharp shards of sorrow coursed through her veins. Her whole body ached as if it were breaking apart.
Seeing Roxiana remain silent, he introduced himself.
“My name is Kirshan. Kirshan Lepe.”
“…….”
“I serve as Grand Duke Laetean’s personal guard, and I also happen to act as a physician.”
“Grand Duke Laetean….”
At the hoarse whisper slipping from Roxiana’s lips, Kirshan let out a small sigh of relief. He had been worried her vocal cords might have been damaged since she hadn’t spoken a word.
“Yes. This is the Grand Duchy of Torkan. You’re in the Lily Palace, within the Grand Ducal residence where Grand Duke Laetean resides.”
Then Roxiana finally remembered what had just happened.
The crate had shattered, and she had locked eyes with a man as huge as a tiger. After that, for some reason, a massive wall of fire had engulfed her—an inferno so cruel and merciless it seemed intent on burning everything to ash.
“I thought I’d died…”
Kirshan nodded at Roxiana’s murmured words.
Trending
“That’s right. Everyone assumed you were dead. It’s nearly impossible to survive Grand Duke’s flames without a single injury.”
Kirshan’s eyes swept over Roxiana’s hair, face, neck, and arms in turn.
“Yet astonishingly, you’re completely unharmed.”
“Why… why didn’t you just let me die?”
Kirshan visibly faltered.
“What?”
“Why didn’t you let me die back then?”
Roxiana seemed to believe someone had rescued her from those flames. Flustered, Kirshan blinked several times before barely managing a reply.
“Well… I think it’d be best to discuss that with His Grace himself. He asked me to inform him as soon as you woke up.”
“I’m not a princess anymore.”
Flustered and at a loss for words, Kirshan quickly rose from his chair.
“Yes… I think that’s another matter you should discuss with His Grace yourself.”
After Kirshan fled the room as if escaping, Roxiana clutched the blanket tightly. Everything before her eyes was so lavish and beautiful it stole her breath.
An elegantly crafted vanity, intricately carved chairs, beautiful tapestries, fine curtains, plush carpets, and lace draping the edges of the bed.
Everything reminded her so strongly of her days as a princess of Khanta that she felt suffocated. The environment, unchanged from those days, only plunged Roxiana deeper into agony.
My family is gone, my country has fallen—so why am I lying in this luxurious bed? My family must be wandering restlessly in that cold, dark well… then why am I alone, wrapped in comfort?
“I want to die…”
Roxiana simply wished to end this life.
“Mom… Dad…”
The titles she hadn’t uttered since growing up now pierced her heart.
“I want to die too. Brother… Lanien… I want to be with you all…”
She pulled the blanket over her face, but couldn’t suppress her sobs. Tears wouldn’t come, even as her cries broke free. She was certain that her betrayal—living while everyone else died—had dried her tears completely.
If she truly wanted to die, she could. She could bite off her tongue or jump from that window.
But if she died here now, someone might pity Roxiana enough to allow her burial with Adelia flowers.
Roxiana didn’t wish to return to God’s embrace after death. While her family wandered in limbo, she couldn’t accept peace alone.
Thus, Roxiana could neither die freely nor escape her cruel, lingering breaths.
Knock knock—
So lost in despair, she hadn’t noticed someone knocking on her bedroom door. Only after the door opened did Roxiana sit up and turn toward it.
A massive man entered the room.
He was so tall his head nearly brushed the top of the doorway, with broad shoulders, a thick neck, and tousled auburn hair that looked as if it had never seen a comb.
His slow, heavy steps filled the room with an overwhelming presence—his mere entrance made the spacious bedroom feel cramped.
He walked up to her bedside, picked up the chair Kirshan had sat in just moments ago. His huge frame made the chair appear smaller than before.
He pulled the chair close to the bed and sat down heavily. Sunlight streaming through the window set his hair ablaze with red.
Slouching slightly in the chair, he rested his elbows on his knees, clasping his hands together. In that posture, he stared intently at Roxiana for a long while.
His steel-gray eyes were sharp, heavy, and intense. Roxiana felt as if her throat were tightening, yet she endured his gaze.
Now she understood why he was called the Crimson Tiger. Facing him on a battlefield would freeze one’s body as if confronted by a mighty tiger.
He remained silent for a very long time. Just as Roxiana could no longer bear the silence and was about to speak first, a deep, weighty voice finally emerged from his lips.
“Princess.”
At his address, Roxiana flinched, her shoulders trembling.
The moment the slave brand was stamped on her—or rather, the moment the Felur Royal Family swallowed the Franche Royal Family—Roxiana ceased to be a princess.
He surely knew that well. Thus, calling her “Princess” was no kindness—it felt more like cruel mockery.
Yet Roxiana suppressed any sign of offense, gripping the blanket tightly as she looked at him.
‘Only this man can grant what I desire.’

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
