I Accidentally Imprinted On The Wolf Duke (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 68
“I can’t believe you didn’t know. After all, you even disguised your gender to infiltrate the Duke’s household. But I suppose a mere human wouldn’t know everything about werewolves—unlike me, who is one.”
She had suspected it might be true, but hearing it confirmed—that he was indeed a werewolf—meant the Duke had always wanted to mate with another werewolf, just as Leina Tilbeth had said, not a mere human.
“You must’ve known that a male werewolf in heat becomes little more than a beast, which is why the Duke never hired any female servants. Yet you pretended ignorance while dressing as a man and scheming for the Duke’s bed. How repulsive! You deliberately targeted him during his spring rut, taking advantage of his loss of reason, shamelessly exploiting the werewolf’s weakness—that mere physical intimacy triggers imprinting!”
Leina Tilbeth shuddered visibly as she spoke her final words, revealing at last what Chloe had needed to hear—the dreadful truth about imprinting that she’d never wanted to know.
‘Just physical intimacy alone causes imprinting.’
Chloe felt as though the earth beneath her feet was sinking endlessly downward. The tall, straight trees above spun dizzily in circles around her head. It seemed as if they might tumble down at any moment and crush her.
She hadn’t known about the spring rut, nor about werewolves, nor about imprinting. That night had simply been a series of coincidences. But it was also true that she’d disguised herself as a man to deceive the Duke, and that she’d pinned him down that night despite his resistance.
She couldn’t even argue that the Duke wasn’t the sort of man who would sleep with just any woman before him merely because his “spring rut” had come—because, as Leina Tilbeth had pointed out, the Duke had never employed a single female servant nor allowed any woman near him from the very beginning.
‘Ah… so that was why.’
Chloe finally understood why House Ulphaz had set such unusual conditions. The Duke hadn’t disliked women—he’d feared his own instincts, his heat, and the consequences of imprinting.
Tears she couldn’t explain threatened to burst forth.
No, she couldn’t cry now. Absolutely not in front of that woman. Chloe bit the inside of her lip hard to hold back her tears.
“For a Duke to imprint on a filthy, despicable human like you—it’s shameful and infuriating, as a fellow werewolf. If an Alpha of the next generation were to be born from someone like you, I doubt I could ever accept it as a true Alpha. Then again, opportunists like you probably couldn’t endure being an Alpha’s mate anyway. Your failure would be a blessing—for the Duke and for all werewolves.”
Leina Tilbeth hurled a few more insults too garbled to fully understand, then spun on her heel as if she couldn’t bear sharing the same space with a mere human any longer, vanishing from the garden.
Overwhelmed by the woman’s barrage of humiliation—as if her entire body had been pummeled—Chloe finally collapsed right where she stood.

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).
5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!
