I couldn’t comment on the paragraphs. However, it is very strange how Carcus tried to beat the Duke, but all he got was the Duke’s full realization that Klein is all he wants in life. Oh, my God, this is so romantic.
I bet the duke will be relieved once he finds out Klein is actually Chloe and a WOMAN. He won’t have to give up his alpha title at all! 😂
