I Accidentally Imprinted On The Wolf Duke (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 15
“Yes. I’ll leave now.”
Only then did Klein unsteadily rise to his feet, then slightly turn his head to look at Hughgray.
“Hah, honestly. What’s with that look of yours? Can you even see straight like that? Why don’t you just take off your glasses.”
Now he understood why Klein had kept shaking his head so vigorously.
Klein wore his usual thick glasses—so large they covered half his face, looking perpetually stuffy. But now, the lenses were fogged over with dense condensation, making it doubtful whether anything could be seen through them at all.
“Oh, no, it’s fine. I can see clearly.”
Even as he said this, Klein raised his arm to wipe his glasses.
“You’re being foolish.”
Wiping the lenses with his damp forearm only made the glasses slick and smeared with moisture.
Realizing his glasses were now streaked with water, Klein lifted his upper arm right up to the lenses and vigorously wiped away the dampness.
He truly looked ridiculous. Aside from Klein Reeden, who else would wipe their glasses by dragging their upper arm across them instead of just taking them off?
Still wearing his thoroughly smudged glasses, Klein stumbled out of the bathroom.
Everything seemed strange. Absolutely everything.
His overly hurried steps.
The pitiful, clumsy way he’d wiped his glasses.
His soaked backside, damp from slipping and landing hard on the wet bathroom floor.
Even the strikingly smooth, slender, and pale calves of his legs as he ran off.
But the strangest thing of all was, as always, the changed atmosphere.
Only after Klein disappeared from the bathroom could Hughgray finally breathe properly again.
While Klein had been in there, his scent had been so overpoweringly intense that Hughgray had barely managed to take short, desperate breaths only when he neared his limit.
Could someone who claimed to be involved with a woman bearing the exact same scent really emit such a powerful aroma?
It wasn’t even as if he’d just come from meeting a woman.
Ah… Could it truly be?
The assumption he’d desperately wanted to deny kept stubbornly rearing its head as undeniable truth.
It was odd that they shared the same scent, yet somehow this scent unmistakably felt like it belonged to Klein Reeden himself.
Not something he’d picked up elsewhere—but something he was emitting directly from his own body.
A scent so sweet it could drive one mad, so thirst-inducing it made one want to drink it whole.
This was dangerous. Truly dangerous.
He decided he needed to send word to Joyce, urging him to accelerate his investigation.
He had to find that woman quickly.
At this rate, he’d be imprinted on that servant boy before long.
Of course, that was absurd. A werewolf who’d already imprinted couldn’t imprint again—and certainly not on someone of the same gender.
But his current physical condition was just as absurd.
It wasn’t just his sense of smell—his entire body was reacting to that boy, Klein Reeden.
He needed to find the true source of his imprinting as soon as possible.
[This is the timeline separator]Back in her room, Chloe sat dazed, as though her soul had left her body. She needed to change out of her soaked clothes, but couldn’t even muster the presence of mind to do so.
The image she’d just witnessed kept floating before her eyes.
So that was it. That was what it had been.
That night, though she’d been tormented all night in the dark room, she’d fled before dawn fully broke—so this was the first time she’d actually seen it clearly with her own eyes.
Duke Hughgray Ulphaz.
She’d known he was perfect and majestic, but did he really need to be so flawlessly grand in every single detail?
Standing bare and unabashed, the Duke’s body was so harmoniously beautiful that even a mere glance left her mouth agape.
But the moment her eyes locked onto the prominent feature at the center of his body, the entirety of that majestic image vanished.
Only one thing remained seared into her mind.
That much…
No! Stop reminiscing! No recalling!
Chloe shook her head violently, desperately trying to edit and delete the image from her thoughts.
But of course, the memory that had already taken root stubbornly clung on.
Still… it seemed impossible.

The harder she tried to shake off the image, the more cascading questions it raised.
Hmm… so that was… like that… and then… but how could it even be possible?
She still couldn’t quite believe she’d actually done *that* with the Duke.
Yet it had undeniably happened. Her body had ached so terribly for days afterward that it couldn’t possibly have been just a dream. That lingering aftermath was proof enough that it had been real.
So that was why.
Now she finally understood why her body had felt as though it had been beaten up for days after that night.
With this realization, the last trace of guilt she’d held toward the Duke slowly dissipated like morning mist. She couldn’t imagine any woman being able to handle a man like him.
She even began to wonder if the Duke’s rumored aversion to women—so extreme people claimed he was impotent—might actually stem from a rare self-awareness and human decency.
No, really—what did Sir Joyce even know, getting angry at the woman? Did he have any idea what condition his own lord was in?
At this point, Chloe even felt as if she’d practically sacrificed herself for the Duke’s sake—and resolved to set a firm deadline in her mind.
Whichever came first—Sir Joyce or the Information Guild—with their investigation results, she would leave the Duke’s estate without fail that very day.
After all, the Duke had no right to keep her as a servant under false pretenses.
Until now, lingering guilt over deceiving him and fear of exposure had kept her trapped here.
But now, no matter what results they brought—even if it was confirmed beyond doubt that she was the woman—her desire to leave this house outweighed any fear of consequences.
If her disguise as a man were exposed, she’d accept the consequences. But even if she had initiated things that night, afterward it had been just her alone with such an… such an overwhelmingly massive man… It was impossible. Yes, absolutely impossible. So surely, the blame couldn’t rest solely on her.
Still reeling from the shock of what she’d seen while attending his bath, Chloe finished justifying it all to herself.
It had been a consensual night between two grown adults—she didn’t have to bear all the responsibility alone.
[This is the timeline separator]Chloe, who had woken a full hour earlier than usual and rubbed her sleepy eyes open with effort, grumbled as she prepared wash water and carried it toward the Duke’s bedroom.
Things had changed—far too drastically.
Ever since having her attend his bath, the Duke had been treating her like a servant nonstop, as if he’d completely forgotten how he’d previously neglected his valet.
She now had to prepare his clothes in advance, help him dress, and even assist during meals—despite the fact he’d always eaten perfectly fine on his own.
He’d even ordered her to stay glued to his side during training at the martial arena—quickly offering water whenever he was thirsty, instantly handing him a towel when he sweated.
Yet she couldn’t really object, even though the Duke had suddenly started acting like a master who’d only just realized the purpose of having a valet.
In truth, most valets lived exactly like this—it was she who’d been enjoying an unrealistically easy life until now.
Well, admittedly, he’d also added tasks that typical valets didn’t perform.
Apparently unable to bear seeing her idle even for a moment, the Duke had even assigned her to translate books from Tigrimum into Elaion Imperial language.
Since she’d been hired under the pretense of her Tigrimum language skill, refusing was difficult.
Besides, that very skill had already earned her a high salary—and he’d even promised extra pay specifically for the translation work, so she hadn’t even considered refusing.
In any case, from the moment he woke, the Duke constantly summoned her, forcing Chloe to adjust not just her wake-up time but even her meal schedule—rising an hour earlier and shifting her second meal to the first seating.
Just let Sir Joyce come! The very day he arrives, I’m leaving for good!
Grinding her teeth, she entered with the wash water—only to find the Duke leisurely reading something in bed.
How comfortably he looks.
“Duke, I’ve prepared your wash water.”
Without answering, the Duke merely gave a slight nod, not even looking up from the paper in his hands.
Chloe could only wait.
Yesterday, after merely setting down the water and going to fetch his clothes, she’d been scolded for not standing by with a towel ready.
In truth, it was indeed a valet’s duty to wait with a towel and hand it over once the master finished washing.
She’d heard from other servants that some valets even washed their master’s face for them—by comparison, her situation actually seemed rather lenient.
The real problem was that the master, who’d never before assigned such trivial tasks or criticized her for missing them, had undergone a complete transformation.
It seemed he intended to torment her like this until the woman he’d slept with finally appeared—which would never happen.
But no matter. She’d just endure it until Sir Joyce arrived.
“Go fetch my clothes.”
Chloe, who’d already decided to leave the Duke’s estate, heard his voice.
The Duke had already gotten out of bed and was now approaching her.
“I need to give you the towel…”
“I have hands. I’ll handle it myself. You just go prepare my clothes.”
Goodness. Where had that finicky master gone—the one who scolded her yesterday for not standing by with a towel?
Muttering inwardly, Chloe headed toward the Duke’s wardrobe.
What should she bring?

The Duke didn’t care much for elaborate clothing, preferring simple, clean styles over anything flashy.
Probably because his looks were already dazzling enough—anything he threw on would look fine anyway.
She picked up his usual plain, unadorned daily attire and returned to him.
In the meantime, the Duke had apparently already finished washing—his nightshirt buttons were nearly all undone.

Liu Changning transmigrated into a female cannon fodder character in a female-dominant novel.
After reading the first half of the novel’s plot, the first thing she did upon transmigration was to divorce the Pan Jinlian-style male protagonist she had just married.
She indulged herself, pretending to be ugly and poor.
But as time passed, the way that man looked at her became more and more unusual…
Liu Changning was dumbfounded: Tell me, what makes you like me? I’ll change!

This lifetime, Pei Yuanshao was rejected by the same woman twice!
The first time, she drove him away. Forced by the situation, he endured the waves of anger in his heart, yielding and humbling himself.
That person lay slanted on a rocking chair, her sallow face emotionless: “If you don’t want a divorce, go cook!”
Pei Yuanshao’s face was dark and gloomy: “You!”
The second time, after the crisis in Jinling City was resolved, the new emperor sent someone to pick him up. He turned around, stammering: “I… I have to go. If you keep me…”
That person lay on the kang bed, her back to him, as if she had long anticipated this day, crisp and clear: “Goodbye!”
Pei Yuanshao was so angry his fingers trembled: “You… you!”
The mission of family and country made him restrain himself, averting his eyes and turning to leave this broken household.
Two years later, they met again. Seeing her ethereal face, his body shook like a sieve.
“She was originally a ‘she’!”
At the Qionglin Banquet, the top scholar of the imperial examination, a talented person with exceptional speech and conduct, all the unmarried young gentlemen from aristocratic families looked at her with shy and timid eyes.
The peerless imperial official Pei Yuanshao felt the anger in his heart erupt. He pointed at the woman surrounded by the crowd at the Qionglin Banquet, his thin lips slightly curled: “Little sister, I wants that person to be the wife-master of my Mingde Prince Manor.”

If the mom didn’t like Carcus at first, I wonder if he might be evil or something?
Also, will the Duke feel bad making her do all this servant stuff once he finds out who she is?
I honestly want her to be able to leave at this point and then have him chase her!
You think he’s obsessive and weird now? Just wait till he finds out the truth of her identity! 😂
