Rain ignored her older brother Jegmun. Her eyes seemed to see only Chester.

She waved her hand dismissively, thoroughly ignoring Jegmun. He, accustomed to this behavior, walked into the mansion as if nothing were amiss.

Jegmun pulled Serain away from Chester, whom she had been unable to take her eyes off. Though she was his younger sister, his expression was strained, as if embarrassed enough to want to hide. Chester couldn’t help but smile at the two of them.

‘Those two truly are close siblings.’

Perhaps because he’d never witnessed such a sibling bond growing up, he couldn’t look away. The two bickered endlessly, exchanging barbs like playful growls.

“If you were going to bring someone—especially someone as handsome as this—you should’ve given me a heads-up beforehand.”

Serain ignored Jegmun and offered to guide Chester. Unaware of it himself, he smiled faintly at the siblings’ familiar rapport and accepted her guidance.
