The fresh trees visible beyond the window swayed gently, surrendering themselves to the fluttering breeze. Through the rustling leaves, a green-scented fragrance rippled and drifted toward me. With every breath in, I felt intoxicated by this verdant aroma.

At the foot of the bed—an integral part of this tranquil scenery—Jun and I sat facing each other.

The day before returning to Korea.

Just as the season was gradually shifting from spring to summer, so too had we been slowly heating up, and we decided to let ourselves be carried away by that rising warmth.

Jun’s deep brown hair, still damp from his recent shower, sparkled in the sunlight. His bangs fluttered softly in the breeze, swaying above his forehead.

His warm gaze swept over my face with deliberate slowness, as if determined not to miss even the tiniest trace of emotion hidden anywhere on it. I couldn’t find a place to rest my eyes.

“You’re quiet.”

The first words I spoke, nervous as I was.

“What should I say, then?”

“Anything… just anything. Or maybe… something else…”

At that very moment, Jun pressed his lips against mine. When had he become this hot—this intense—as he kept kissing me over and over?

But that thought lasted only a split second. Jun’s kiss plunged deeper, rougher than I’d expected, burrowing into me so thoroughly that I couldn’t continue thinking at all—my mind went blissfully blank.

For a while now, Jun’s fingers had been hovering around the top button of my blouse. Perhaps it wasn’t coming undone easily, because he finally broke the kiss and shifted his gaze slightly downward from my face. Without realizing it, I let out a hot breath all at once.

Both of Jun’s hands touched the buttons of my blouse. At last, the very top button slipped open. I could feel his fingers rushing eagerly toward the next one.

That button gave way with a soft pop—and then the next, and the one after that too… I instinctively squeezed my already-closed eyes even tighter. Cool air slipped through the widening gap in my blouse.
