Yura recalled Lee Hyun’s languid smile. Though he was coldly detached—and even ruthless—when dealing with others, he had always been relaxed and gentle with her.

This side of him was entirely different from how she’d seen him before—as merely her older brother’s friend. And this version of him always made her heart skip a beat.

Lee Hyun’s unusually tender touch today and the way his breath had persistently lingered on her lips simply wouldn’t fade from her mind.

Moreover, being in his bedroom seemed to intensify his lingering scent, and she even had the illusion that she was still wrapped in his arms.

Yura felt a dull ache in her chest, wondering how she’d ended up falling so deeply for Lee Hyun. Could she really manage well after parting ways with him? Could she ever go back to the life she’d lived before he came into it? She was already afraid of the time she’d be left alone.

Perhaps that was why she felt it was at least fortunate that she could still stay by Lee Hyun’s side—for now. She felt relieved that she could prolong this happiness just a little longer.

As Yura gently ran her hand over the spot where Lee Hyun had lain, her phone rang.

Hoping it might be Lee Hyun, she quickly checked the screen—but disappointingly, it was Song Min Woo.

“Yes, this is Jin Yoo Ra.”

“It’s Song Min Woo.”

“Yes?”

“I read the article. Your husband seems quite capable.”

Yura was surprised by Min Woo’s sharp eye. When the article first came out, everyone assumed it was released by CH, but due to the complete absence of any official statement, journalists had refrained from jumping to conclusions—though they did swarm in, keeping the possibility in mind.
