49 Times Left, Master! (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 239
Around the time I had grown accustomed to life as a prince’s consort, I took Wol Seom with me to visit my family home. I planned to stay there for about three days before returning to the palace.
Since my old quarters were still left exactly as they had been, I unpacked my few belongings there.
When evening came and Father returned from court, not only my parents but our entire extended family had gathered for dinner.
“Hm? Where are Uncle Second’s family?”
Yet at the table, Uncle Second, Aunt Second, their daughter, and their sons-in-law were nowhere to be seen.
Upon hearing my question, Uncle First pursed his lips.
“They left quite dramatically.”
“They left?”
Well, it made sense. They had originally come up because of the So Ga Ju matter, and before that, all the uncles had stayed at their own homes.
“Did they pass away because they left their house unattended for too long?”
At my question, Uncle Youngest snorted coldly.
“Whether it was the elder brother or his daughter, they were the same—giving false testimony despite knowing I wasn’t the culprit. Now that their perjury has been clearly proven and the real culprit caught, of course they had to leave.”
Uncle Youngest seemed to have completely severed ties with Uncle Second’s household over the perjury incident involving him and Su Hwa.
Later, piecing together bits people dropped here and there, it seemed Uncle Second had left almost under duress.
It was said that even as he departed, Uncle Second angrily declared, “Whichever of my two sons-in-law becomes So Ga Ju won’t change,” and threatened he’d never stand idly by if that happened.

When he discovers she has gone, he risks everything to pursue her on land, enduring agonizing pain to transform his tail into human legs…

One-line summary: Male lead chases female lead. The male lead’s love is a bit sick, an invincible love brain.
Synopsis
During a voyage at sea, Jiang Yang accidentally captures a merman.
Servant: I heard that mermen are fierce and brutal.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman obediently rubbing her palm like a puppy: “You call this fierce and brutal?”
Servant: I heard that mermen have no human nature.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman with wet puppy eyes, obsessively calling her ‘A Yang’ like a childish infant: “You call this having no human nature?”
With great difficulty, she releases the merman back into the sea and returns to shore.
Who would have thought that in less than half a month, the merman, who should have been freely wandering in the South China Sea, would shed his scales, endure the pain of losing his tail, transform into human legs, and come ashore to find her?
He kneels at her feet, rubbing her palm, with merman tears rolling down: “A Yang, don’t abandon me.”

That’s a blessing ML is smart and the situation is probably will be resolved quickly, otherwise I would’ve rage flip because of that never ending misunderstandings.
I hoped that after main story ending they finally will stop that habit of lying in every little thing, it’s a pity I expected too much 🫠
I can understand ML’s jealousy, but really, why not to let his wifey pay her karmic debt and then live happily ever after?
