Jin Sung still remembered it vividly.

The way Sung Jun couldn’t take his eyes off Seo Yeon whenever he saw her.

Or how Sung Jun, who hated noise more than anything, came back from Seo Yeon’s solo recital and listened to the classical piece she had performed.

Or the way he rushed home, canceling all important meetings, upon hearing the news that his sister-in-law had collapsed.

Thus, others—speculating wildly—insisted that Sung Jun refused to divorce Seo Yeon only to torment her to death, or that he must have another woman on the side, and constantly predicted their relationship would soon collapse. But Jin Sung, who had known Sung Jun for nearly twenty years, never believed those rumors.

He simply wasn’t the type of person generous enough to share space with someone he disliked.

‘And besides, Sister-in-law is beautiful enough to captivate Hyung at first sight.’

Sung Jun furrowed his brows, recalling Jin Sung’s face grinning slyly at him. Judging by the vague nonsense Jin Sung had muttered—things like “You’re lucky,” “I envy you,” or “I totally get it”—Sung Jun must’ve been wearing a rather pitiful expression.

Come to think of it, this was the first time since their marriage.

His wife had initiated an affectionate gesture toward him.

Though he felt utterly ridiculous for being so elated over just one message from her, he had no intention of letting this hard-won opportunity slip away.
