The Viscount called Ael aside and went to his study.

It was a study she had never once been invited into before. Yet now, the Viscount was even urging her to sit down.

‘Since he can no longer sell Elise, he’s trying to sell me off instead.’

“Aelfrida, did Elise happen to mention anything to you about your marriage?”

“…Yes.”

The Viscount clicked his tongue.

He, too, knew Elise’s temper well.

“And regarding the wedding… he wishes to hold it at his domain. He also said he’d like to stay here while in the capital to grow closer to you. It would be even better if you two became intimate before heading to his estate.”

Ael remained silent as the Viscount rambled on.
