You And I Live In Different Worlds (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 87
Good heavens. He had been entertaining foolish thoughts.
Melie spoke firmly.
“Don’t even dream of it. You and I are strangers.”
“Not legally.”
Edric pulled a twice-folded document from the inner pocket of his jacket. He unfolded it and held it out right before Melie’s eyes so she could see it clearly.
[Divorce Petition]
It was a divorce document bearing both his and her signatures side by side.

A small flame slowly began crawling up the paper from the corner. Edric didn’t let go even as the fire, consuming the printed words and signatures, grew larger and threatened to engulf his hand.
His unwavering gaze fixed straight on her, as if testing exactly how far she could endure.
‘Fine. Do as you please.’

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.

The weaker side is the one that loves more. Those were your words
I completely agree with the statement: “As long as a person is alive, it’s never too late.”
He was confident that she would eventually return.
