Si Yoon and Mi Joo are packing a small travel bag.

No, to be precise, Mi Joo is the one packing, while Si Yoon is simply watching quietly as Mi Joo moves back and forth arranging things.

“Si Yoon, don’t you have a bigger bag? This one’s way too small.”

“We’re only going away for a short while—why would I need a big bag?”

At the word “short,” Mi Joo smiled faintly at Si Yoon.

“I’m sorry. Meeting your grandfather is a bit stressful, and I also can’t afford to miss too much school.”

“I’ll die. I can’t possibly leave without Choi Mi Joo.”

Si Yoon sighed deeply and slumped down onto the sofa, draining all strength from his body as if spreading himself across it. Watching him, Mi Joo smiled tenderly, finding him utterly adorable.

‘A man as big as a mountain, acting like a puppy—coy, petulant—it’s melting me, completely melting me.’

She wanted to rush over and kiss his cheek right this instant. But she knew if she carelessly stirred his desire, it would become unbearable day or night, so lately Mi Joo had been even more cautious in her actions.

She was trying her best not to even meet his gaze or let their clothes brush against each other. Yet, could she really control it? Unconsciously, her eyes drifted toward him, mesmerized by Si Yoon’s beauty.

“Instead of sneaking glances, come over here and save me.”

Though staring blankly into space, he somehow knew Mi Joo was watching him—was he giving her the whites of his eyes?

But Mi Joo didn’t fall for Si Yoon’s ploy. She kept busily taking things in and out of the bag.

“I don’t need luggage. Just my tablet and a few familiar things are enough.”
