The place Si Yoon and Mi Joo arrived at was a large grocery store.

“Just came out to buy milk and a few daily necessities—why did you come?”

Although she said this, Mi Joo was secretly pleased. Being here with Si Yoon at a place she’d always rushed into just for delivery gigs felt almost like a date.

“Wow, they even sell stuff like this.”

Si Yoon, too, looked delighted as if visiting a supermarket for the first time.

“You said on the phone you liked going to supermarkets, right?”

“I can’t even say I just want to be with you.”

She didn’t dislike Si Yoon’s silly remark.

Si Yoon had occasionally come out to buy something he needed, but he’d always just grabbed the item and left immediately. For everything else—groceries or household goods—he’d hired a housekeeper to handle it.

She remembered Denny, who’d always teased her, acting as if he knew more about relationships than she did.

Si Yoon positioned Mi Joo in front of the cart she’d been pushing and started pushing it from behind her.

A faint shampoo scent drifted from Mi Joo ahead of him, and with every step, her straight back, rounded hips, and slim thighs lightly brushed against his body.

Now he finally understood what Denny had meant by those words.

“I get what you meant now.”

“What do you mean?”
