Mi Joo tried to stop Si Yoon from pulling her dress up further, but his determined gaze and swift hands were faster.

‘Right, you can’t stay wet all night.’

Si Yoon turned Mi Joo around—she was barely clad in her undergarments, crossing her arms over her body in an ‘X’ shape. With rough, brisk motions—‘tap tap’—he wiped the moisture off her skin, and Mi Joo gradually regained her senses.

‘Are you really that averse to someone touching you, even by accident?’

Contrary to Mi Joo’s misunderstanding, Si Yoon simply wanted to resolve this situation as quickly as possible. It was almost painful to look at Mi Joo’s flushed, steaming body, fresh out of hot water and still glistening with droplets.

Moreover, her soaked underwear was practically no different from wearing nothing at all. Turning her away to avoid seeing her face only made things harder.

From the smooth, elegant curve of her spine down to the round swell of her hips—every line tightened the air in Si Yoon’s throat.

‘Damn it! Get a grip!’

Si Yoon gritted his teeth, struggling to restrain himself. Not knowing when the darkness within him might burst out, he carefully avoided direct contact, wiping only the excess water from her body.

To Si Yoon, every tiny movement Mi Joo made appeared in slow motion, captured with painful clarity.

He’d tried so hard not to look—but seeing her faint reflection in the mirror made his head spin. Clenching his jaw, he tossed a shower robe over her shoulders and turned away.

“You can manage on your own now, Ms. Choi Mi Joo.”

“Huh? Yes!”

Mi Joo gathered the front of the robe draped over her shoulders.

“Take off everything that’s wet. Don’t wear it.”
