When they arrived at Kang Hyun’s house, she was completely out of it.

As soon as the staff who’d carried the items inside left, a woman calling herself a “shopper” appeared and started fussing over her.

“Our secretary is just so petite-faced! And your skin is absolutely flawless—so fair and smooth—you won’t even need to find your personal color. Everything will suit you perfectly!”

She thought the woman was far too chatty to be Tae Kang Hyun’s usual driver—and sure enough, she soon learned that the director, who normally acted as his driver, was on vacation today, so this employee had come in his place.

“Since the executive’s suit is black, Miss Ji An, it’d be best if you wore a black dress to match. This sheer one here isn’t bad either…”

“Let’s pick something else.”

Kang Hyun, already seated on the sofa after finishing his preparations, frowned the moment he saw the dress the shopper had brought over to Ji An.

He didn’t like the length—it barely looked like it would cover her knees—and he absolutely couldn’t tolerate the fabric, sheer enough to expose her skin from the top of her chest all the way down her arms.

It’s pretty, though—why?

Ji An, who’d been admiring the glamorous mini dress she’d never had the chance to wear before, lifted her gaze and looked straight at Kang Hyun, who sat facing her with one leg elegantly crossed over the other.

He slowly turned his head left and right, his forelocks neatly swept back to fully reveal his fierce expression.

She didn’t know why, but if the person buying it said no, what could she do?

“How about this one, then? The weather’s gotten quite chilly, so velvet wouldn’t be a bad choice. It’s a square neckline—cut in a trapezoid shape—so it’ll show just a hint of your collarbone, making the necklace we prepared today really stand out.”

“I like it…”

“Let’s pick something else.”
