“Where are you going?”

Noah’s head snapped around. His golden eyes sparkled as he stared intently at Amy.

“The person who told me earlier just gave me another clue. I’m going to look for it.”

At the end of the corridor, the hall door came into view in the distance. Noah’s steps slowed.

“Is that another magic artifact too?”

“Yes. Though they don’t know it.”

“…Ah.”

Noah blinked and lowered his eyes slightly. He felt a little touched that Amy had shared something with him she hadn’t even told those she seemed close to.

Amy pushed open the hall door and declared cheerfully,

“One should always have a hearty breakfast.”

Noah looked up and smiled.

“Yeah, I know.”

His dear maid-in-chief was always serious about food.

After the meal, Noah immediately summoned Captain Vernon of the palace guard and ordered him to dispatch knights as quickly as possible to retrieve the magic artifact Amy had mentioned. He urged them on so relentlessly that Dwayne and Jack were practically chased out of the ducal palace that very afternoon.

As Amy turned back after seeing them off and wishing them a safe return, Noah asked her quietly,
