When The Silver Bell Of Charlotte's Pharmacy Rings (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 112
“No!”
Edesa clenched her fists tightly and shook her head, shouting out. She gripped the front of Morren’s waistcoat fiercely, then let tears fall drop by drop. Her strange eyes—empty yet filled with longing—glistened behind a thin film of moisture.
Morren’s fingers traced along Edesa’s jawline and climbed up her cheek. It was an impertinent gesture for a servant. Yet Edesa seemed too far gone in her state to even register it.
His lips, curled into a faintly amused smile, drew close enough to Edesa’s ear to almost touch it. That delicate, white ear—thin and small like a betta fish’s fin. Morren quietly whispered, imagining tearing it off just to watch Edesa scream.
“Of course not. Absolutely not. You want to possess Duke Elinak, don’t you? To achieve that, you must follow his wishes carefully.”
“Him…? Do you mean my elder brother?”
Morren’s reflection flickered faintly in Edesa’s hollow eyes.
“Naturally.”

After leaving the dining room, Charlotte and Matiel wandered around the entire village, waiting for evening to fall. They realized as they walked that the village was larger than it first appeared. Even after circling the main street and sweeping past its outer edges, there were still scattered areas they hadn’t seen.
“The weather is truly lovely.”
Charlotte looked up at the bright blue sky. While the capital of Roanoke, Yuril, was undeniably beautiful, its size and the many factories surrounding it often left the sky looking hazy, even on clear days. On humid days, the air sometimes carried a damp metallic tang along with a sour, acidic scent.
Matiel glanced up at the sky with an expression devoid of emotion, then turned his gaze toward Charlotte.
“Do you like places like this?”
“Like it? You mean, would I want to live here?”

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.

Sorry but, what the hell is wrong with this woman? She’s beyond childish & spoiled. Does she have no self outside a desire for the Duke? She really makes no sense. The way others cater to her makes even less sense. The duke is supposed to marry her simply because it’s what Edesa wants? Since when did she out rank him? This mess has no logic to it.

“Yes, Your Highness.”
They’re both delusional. Didn’t the Duke himself already tell the crown princess he was interested un someone else and wouldn’t marry Edesa?

That means Maleblanc or Morren has been in the capital for quite some time then. She’s 15 but has been ‘frail’ her whole life. Damn that Luger hunter guy.

To be honest, Tae Mi is my favorite character in this novel.
Wow that’s grotesque. I didn’t think this novel was going to be so gorey
