To the Missing Secretary (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 7
The two were at Jae Heon’s house.
The expressions of the two people sitting face-to-face on the bed were stiffened with tension.
“Are you really not going to regret it?”
Ra Jin shook her head slightly.
“I won’t.”
He would never know how long she had waited for this moment.
“If you want, I’ll draft the agreement right now.”
Hoo. Jae Heon, who let out a long breath, rubbed his dry face.
“Instead of an agreement, promise me. That you’ll stay by my side.”
“By your side……”
“Promise me that you won’t go to another company and will continue working.”
Ra Jin hesitated for a moment. These were words he had said prepared to leave if he got married, or even engaged.
She really hadn’t expected that Jae Heon would accept her proposal and hold onto her so actively.
“Secretary Sa.”
At his deep voice calling her, Ra Jin snapped back to reality and took a deep breath.
“Then…… please grant me one more thing.”
“What now.”
Contrary to his indifferent voice, his eyes were filled with desperate desire.
“For this moment only, please don’t call me Secretary Sa. Then I’ll promise.”
At her provocative words, a low groan escaped from Jae Heon’s throat.
“I didn’t know Secretary Sa had this side to her.”
He muttered briefly.
Jae Heon reached out and gently cupped Ra Jin’s cheek.
A thrilling current passed between their locked gazes.
“Close your eyes, Ra Jin.”
Her long, trembling eyelashes softly lowered.
Thinking that Jae Heon was looking at her with her eyes closed made her eyelids feel hot.
It seemed like the thumping sound of her heart would reach his ears too.
The moment Jae Heon’s breath drew close and touched her lips.
Ra Jin involuntarily took a deep breath.
“……”
She had been bold in her provocation, yet now she was extremely tense—it was both absurd and cute.
Then a small smile appeared on Jae Heon’s lips.
The always thorough Secretary Sa, the flawless one who never showed emotions, was now incredibly lovable.
‘……Lovable?’
What was this unfamiliar and awkward expression?
He, who had been enjoying her bewildered look, was now feeling bewildered himself.
Lovable, of all things.
He had never once in his life looked at something and thought it was “lovable.”
He didn’t know what that emotion was, nor had he tried to.
Yet why had this adjective suddenly, without warning, without prelude, popped up on its own in his mind?
He didn’t accept vague reasons like “caught up in the atmosphere.”
He believed everything had a clear cause that could be explained precisely.
But right now, he couldn’t explain it. This unfamiliar sentence that had suddenly flown in filled his mind and chest, leaving no room for other thoughts.
So this is what feeling something is lovable feels like. This urge to kiss every little movement.
Jae Heon slowly approached and gently kissed Ra Jin’s forehead.
She flinched and unconsciously grabbed his collar tightly. Jae Heon found even that movement lovable.
His lips softly touched her trembling eyes, the beautifully arched bridge of her nose, and her flushed cheeks in turn.
He gently held her lips so as not to startle her.
Hot breath rushed into the awkwardly opened gap. It felt dizzying and thrilling, circulating through his veins all over his body.

As Ra Jin began responding to him, Jae Heon had to struggle not to lose control of himself.
Why is she so soft. Why does she smell so good. Why is she…… so lovable?
Swept up in the sweetness they were giving each other, they soon fell helplessly into it.
Soft yet intense, then delicate again.
From the warmth of their contact, Ra Jin could clearly tell.
How much Jae Heon desired her.
And at the same time, how gently he was treating her while suppressing that desire.
“There’s only now.”
A husky voice flowed from Jae Heon’s wet lips.
“The timing to stop.”
Ra Jin, who had been gazing intently at Jae Heon’s face, untied his necktie and let it drop to the floor.
“Ha……”
The deep sigh was laced with dangerous heat.
“Are you seducing me?”
She whispered softly.
“Since earlier.”
He narrowed his brows, wrapped his hands around her head, pulled her close, and overlapped their lips again.
Ra Jin’s slender fingers, threading through his thick black hair, slid down his thick neck and gripped his broad, firm shoulders tightly.
That night, for the first time since his parents passed away, Jae Heon did not have a nightmare.
On the way to work.
Ra Jin boarded the bus with the same calm face as always.
Her attire was neat, and her makeup was clean.
Her straight posture with her back erect, her gaze fixed straight ahead, and her tightly closed lips that showed her flawless personality were no different from usual.
But inside, she was churning wildly.
Until dawn today, she had been held in her boss’s arms in his bedroom.
In the arms of the man she had secretly loved for 7 years.
Even as she stared in a daze at his peacefully sleeping face—which she was seeing for the first time—at dawn, Ra Jin couldn’t believe it.
That she would be with this man, the senior Seo Jae Heon whom everyone admired and followed, until this hour.
She barely resisted the temptation to stay lying there longer and carefully moved the thick arm wrapped around her waist.
Each step toward home felt so heavy.
No, it wasn’t her body that was heavy—it was her heart.
Because it was regretful and sad to leave that moment that would never return.
‘Get a grip. If I space out even for a second, I might make a big mistake.’
Then it would be over. Jae Heon wouldn’t keep an incompetent secretary.
So she had to act as usual.
As if she had forgotten the night with him.
No, as if nothing had ever happened between them from the beginning.
Upon arriving at the company building, Ra Jin exchanged eye greetings with the security guard and lobby desk staff in turn, tagged her employee ID, and entered.
Standing in front of the elevator, she suddenly widened her eyes.
She was used to using the executive elevator with him since she always stayed close to Jae Heon.
So even on days like today, when coming to work, she often found herself standing here without thinking.
Thinking of him made one side of her chest burn.
‘No, why is it getting hot.’
She was about to rub her cheek lightly with the back of her hand and move toward the employee elevator.
“Stay there.”
At the thick, low voice from behind, Ra Jin’s heart dropped.
She slowly turned her head, and there stood Jae Heon.
In his usual perfect appearance.
Following the teachings of Chairman Seo Sung Jae, who emphasized that “attire represents dignity and image” and stressed dressing properly, the family leading Geonyeong Group paid great attention to their appearance.
Today, Jae Heon was wearing a dark navy suit. The tie and vest were the same color. His tall 190cm frame and broad shoulders perfectly pulled off any outfit.

Under his neatly combed-back hairstyle, the lines from his forehead to nose bridge and jawline were strikingly clear and handsome.
“Have you arrived, Director.”
As soon as their black eyes met, she immediately bowed her head.
“……”
Jae Heon’s expression as he looked down at the top of Ra Jin’s head was hard to read.
“Let’s go.”
As soon as he spoke, the elevator arrived in the lobby.
When Ra Jin stepped aside a bit, Jae Heon boarded first as if it were natural.
She took a shallow breath and followed him.
“……”
As soon as the doors closed, silence rushed in like a wave.
It was Jae Heon who broke the silence that lasted until they reached the floor.
“Did you get home okay?”
Ra Jin’s eyes widened for a moment, and she clenched her clasped hands tightly, trying to respond calmly.
“When did you leave?”
“……I went back at dawn.”
“Taxi?”
“Yes.”
Ra Jin glanced at Jae Heon furtively. Worried that he might hear her heartbeat too.
“Is your body okay?”
Since she was standing looking at his massive back, she couldn’t tell what his expression was.
“……Yes.”
“That’s a relief.”
Silence flowed again. Ra Jin sincerely wished for the elevator to reach the destination soon as she looked up at the floor indicator.
Then suddenly Jae Heon turned around.
Their eyes met.
A tension like a burning throat flowed between them.
“Just in case, let me say this.”
Reading the faint discomfort in his eyes, Ra Jin immediately opened her mouth.
“Don’t worry. The only thing I want from you, Director, is your body.”
At her words, Jae Heon made an unreadable expression.
He narrowed his brows once, then shrugged his shoulders and turned back as the arrival chime dinged.
“That’s an answer I really like. I hope you don’t change your mind in the future.”
Ra Jin, watching Jae Heon’s retreating back as he stepped out first, involuntarily let out the breath she had been holding.
“Haa……”
Jae Heon’s behavior didn’t deviate even an inch from Ra Jin’s expectations.
Indifferent. Insensitive. Emotionless.
To him, the night with her was just a short happening.
Something he would clear from his mind the next day.
She knew that, yet…… facing him like this made her heart ache as if it were tearing.
Until dawn, Ra Jin had harbored a “what if.”
Because his touch as he caressed her was so hot and gentle.
‘Ra Jin, you have to look at me.’
Because his voice calling her name was so sweet, she had held onto a slim hope.
Foolishly. What a big dream. Who did she think she was.
Ra Jin let out a hollow laugh at the emptiness, then straightened her back firmly.
It was time to perfectly return to being “Secretary Sa.”
Entering the office, Jae Heon set down his briefcase, took off his jacket and hung it up, then headed to his seat.
Sitting at the desk, he turned on the computer and rolled up his sleeves a bit. The metal watch on his left wrist gleamed as it caught the light.
Jae Heon, focused on checking the documents uploaded to the cloud. His eyes moved to the date and time displayed in the top right of the monitor.

Soon, Ra Jin would brew tea and bring it while briefing today’s schedule.
They would be alone again in this space with Ra Jin.
“Hoo…… This is driving me crazy.”
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
