Alejandro muttered lightly. According to Sir, what use could Emperor possibly find in Gabe Esteban, who had neither family nor fortune, to pull him out of prison?
His pitch-black eyes stared straight through Gabe Esteban as though piercing him.

Yet that sudden surge of hatred had to be kept under control. Alejandro’s Adam’s apple bobbed briefly. After swallowing down the fierce excitement that had nearly quickened his breath, he lazily rolled his shoulders.

Verification was the extent of his assigned duty. ‘Handling’ that person belonged to Sir.
“I shall follow your orders, Master.”
The sharp, oppressive aura that had been pressing down on the surroundings vanished instantly. Still, Johnny deliberately tried to relax his tense frame by recalling pleasant thoughts.
