Thus Began Your Regret (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 92
Louisa headed upstairs. There was still a bit of time before the doctor arrived. She thought it best to organize the documents she had been working on whenever she had spare moments—the papers regarding the underground railway’s locomotive contract.
She had no idea how long she’d been in there. As she concentrated on sorting through various materials, a soft click—the sound of a door opening—reached her ears.

Edward sighed in exasperation, pressing a hand to his forehead. Louisa, having just put the final period on her note, handed him the report she’d been preparing. Edward took the documents she’d thrust toward him without thinking and opened the first page, filled densely with her handwriting.
“I’m gathering evidence and precedents strong enough to counter the royal family’s unreasonable demands.”
“This is…”
“There are plenty of cases where clearly superior technology was deliberately set aside for political reasons—like the firearms supplied to the military.”
