It was a rare, relaxed evening at home, with So Yeon and her family gathered together in the living room after she returned early from work.

“Oh, I completely forgot to tell you. This morning, I got a call from the El Stella secretarial office. Chairman Tae said he wanted to have a meal with me instead of your dad. So I went out to lunch with him today.”
“Did… did Hyun Woo go too?”
So Yeon tried to suppress her alarm as she asked again, and Yeon Hee replied with a warm smile.
“Yes, he did. And you know what? Chairman Tae and Hyun Woo got along so naturally—it was incredible. Even though it was a conversation between an adult and a child, they understood each other perfectly. Anyone watching would’ve thought they were real grandfather and grandson.”
Real grandfather… So Yeon’s darkening eyes trembled uneasily.
“Was it just a meal? Nothing else happened?”
“What else could there be besides exchanging pleasantries? He treated me to a wonderful meal, so I ate very well.”
