The first thing that caught So Yeon’s eye upon entering the room was the enormous bed.

Just looking at it, she couldn’t help but imagine him lying down and getting up from there every day—and even more intimate scenes beyond that.

Her face instantly turned bright red, and So Yeon quickly shook her head, shifting her gaze away from the bedroom toward the adjoining lounge area. Inside the spacious, stylish master suite befitting its status, even a grand piano was present.

If there wasn’t a single thing lacking in him—and on top of that, he could even play piano well—wouldn’t he just be utterly overpowered?

Having assumed it was merely decorative, she suddenly remembered something and hurriedly pulled her phone out from her bag tucked tightly under her arm.

“Oh, right, So Yeon-ah!”

The moment the call connected, Jo Yeon Hee’s voice immediately filled So Yeon’s ears.

“Mom, aren’t you asleep yet?”

“I’ve been waiting for your call. But why haven’t you come home yet? Did something happen?”

The clock hands were already approaching midnight. It was understandable that her mother would worry. But before answering, So Yeon instinctively brought up her son first, as she always did.

“How’s Hyun Woo?”

“He video-called his grandfather and has been sleeping soundly since around the time your drama ended.”

“What were you doing, Mom?”

“I’m watching the rerun of your drama with Jessica and having a beer. When I watched the live broadcast, I was so nervous I couldn’t even tell what I’d seen—but I did notice that my So Yeon was the prettiest of all. Hehe…”

Yeon Hee sounded genuinely cheerful.
