I felt a sudden chill and turned to look—only to see Askan staring at Decain with clear disapproval in his eyes.

Decain smiled faintly and spoke up.
“As promised earlier, you’ll show me around your laboratory, right?”
It wasn’t a difficult request, so I nodded and started to rise from my seat—but Askan spoke before I could.
“If it’s alright with you, my lady, I’ll take over and show him the laboratory instead.”
“You will?”
“Yes. You’ve been so busy lately. Please let me handle this small task.”

Not a chance there will be a Reverse Harem ending. So.. poor Decain. Our protagonist is quick and resourceful with her answers! 👍🏻Askan is really nice and kind. Hmm… I wonder why doesn’t Tanasia ask him about his past, — even if she read that book, she said herself that it was incomplete. It’s as if she still doesn’t want to truly see him.
- Askan is going to be discovered in no time now. I hope he at least will be able to control his abilities by then, and Tanasia will have quite a number of artefacts .. to fight them.

For me there is an issue. I think those who experimented on the human-weapons, used script on different objects before. To know word combinations and such. Before switching to humans. That would be more logical. 🤷🏻♀️ I can’t easily believe that Tanasia was the first to think about that. 🤔
