For just a moment, I considered telling the knights that I had picked up this right here on the spot and handing it over to them.

But I quickly shook my head.

Giving them an item whose effect had already vanished would only mean they’d fail to recognize the connection between the horn flute and the monsters.

‘After all, in the original story, the horn flute capable of summoning monsters wasn’t revealed until well into the second half.’

Lost in thought, I suddenly turned to Anselot with wide eyes.

“You—how do you know about the horn flute?”

“And how does Your Highness know about it?”

As I turned with Anselot toward the ballroom, I abruptly asked him,

“You’re not trying to persuade me to follow the scenario today.”

“If I persuaded you, would you do it?”
