The Price of Impulse (Completed Main Story) - Side Story 3

On one side of the filming set, people who had just finished their meal held coffee and a waffle each, freshly received from the snack cart. They glanced furtively at a little boy and a man nearby.

The man, dressed in a suit that fit snugly against his body, held a little boy wearing a white tiger onesie.

Every time the boy squirmed, the tail attached to his outfit swayed back and forth. The man, seemingly in a bad mood, pressed firmly on the boy’s soft, puffed-out cheeks with his hand.

“Ah! Mamaaa!”

Kyu Won, who had spotted Se Kyung emerging from the set, wriggled excitedly. Se Kyung, hearing her son’s voice, waved and hurried over to the two.

“Did you wait long?”

“A little. Kyu Won missed you and got a bit sulky.”

“Oh, really?”

Se Kyung clicked her tongue playfully and gently stroked Kyu Won’s cheek. Just moments ago, his face had been sullen—but now, seeing Se Kyung, he beamed brightly as if he’d never been upset at all.

“Wow, CEO Jin—you really spoil him, don’t you?”

Director Ji, who had walked out alongside Se Kyung, teased loudly. Tae Jo simply gave a slight nod in greeting.

“This must be the tenth time, isn’t it? That you’ve sent a snack cart to Se Kyung’s filming set?”

“More than ten, probably! Wow, Kyu Won came to see Mommy with Daddy? Come here to Uncle for a sec?”

As Manager Moon called out to Kyu Won in response to Director Ji’s remark, he half-glanced at Tae Jo while reaching his arms toward the boy.

Because he’d seen Kyu Won every time he visited the set, the boy readily allowed himself to be picked up by Moon without hesitation.
