The Price is Everything of Yours (76 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 43
The library chair was as comfortable as ever. Neris naturally lifted her face when she sensed someone approaching.
Cledwin smiled at the serene, almost childlike innocence on that face, as if the person had merely stepped out for a breath of fresh air—unbelievably calm, as though claiming the other’s seat were the most natural thing in the world.
“What do you want to say?”
Since they’d already arranged it beforehand through a polite letter, it was as good as having received permission from the chair’s owner. Thinking this, Neris spoke confidently.
“Please spread a rumor for me.”
“A rumor.”
Cledwin repeated the word and plopped down right in front of the chair. Neris was momentarily flustered.
As the heir of Maindlant, he legally outranked everyone in the country except direct members of the imperial family. Though he’d undoubtedly spent his childhood in wealth far beyond what the MacKinnon family could offer, he still sank effortlessly onto the cold stone floor as if it were perfectly ordinary.
Was it because he belonged to the Fencing Division, accustomed to training? After all, they didn’t place fine chairs in the practice yard.
Yet there was a naturalness in Cledwin’s manner that couldn’t be explained by mere habit alone. Certainly, Abelus would have seen to it that the Fencing Division at the Noble Academy never subjected Cledwin von Maindlant to truly harsh training—by ensuring he never got a proper instructor.
“Yes. Let Alecto be the source of the rumor.”
“What’s the content?”
“Here.”
Neris produced a prepared slip of paper. Cledwin unfolded it and skimmed the contents quickly. There was no trace of displeasure at receiving instructions from someone so far beneath him in status and year.
Anyone unaware of their true identities who happened to witness this might have thought it was a noblewoman giving orders to a servant.

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).
5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!

The male lead being so proud of his wife is honestly adorable, even when he gets jealous.
And the female lead is so elegant and beautiful—I can’t wait to see this scene illustrated
Haha, did the ML really just say that to the FL? He’s so cute when he gets a little jealous.
Can’t wait for next chapter
The ML is so considerate of his wife. He treats her with so much care and gentleness, even when she doesn’t say a word—he just understands her. He’s honestly so perfect, I can’t 😭
I really hope the FL can overcome these painful feelings soon. I can’t bear to watch her suffer this much. 💔
