The Price is Everything of Yours (76 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 42
The next day, the first-year students’ first class was dance. As Angharad Nain walked toward the classroom, she painfully noticed that the children were avoiding her even more openly than usual.
‘This is me now.’
She steeled herself, thinking, ‘If I can’t expect a “good” school life, then I’ll settle for a “peaceful” one.’
Honestly, anything was fine—anything but a school life where she was randomly provoked and insulted by passing students.
Alecto, looking far more cheerful than the day before, chattered noisily among the children. Her voice echoed through the hallway the entire way to the dance hall.
“That’s totally her fault. Isn’t she just ridiculous? Tell me more details at lunch later….”
Though not traditionally popular, no child disliked having Alecto join their group. Consequently, Alecto tended to know quite a bit about many students’ personal lives.
Thus, even though she was clearly talking about someone else, Angharad felt suffocated every time she heard a negative remark directed at anyone.
‘They wouldn’t dare do that again.’
Even if she had grumbled about it, Alecto must have learned by now. That speaking carelessly about another student would inevitably lead to some kind of punishment.
When class began, the children lined up against opposite walls when the music stopped, and as soon as it resumed, they moved toward each other, continually switching partners.
Angharad felt humiliated as she watched a boy approach her with an expression of clear reluctance—the only girl left without a partner. This same boy had once shown her particular kindness.
“Hey, don’t do that. She’ll go get her dad again.”
Another boy passing by mocked the frowning boy with a sneer. He was holding Neris’s hand, and he looked rather proud of that fact.
Unconsciously, Angharad turned to look at Neris. Neris wasn’t mocking her—but somehow, that bothered Angharad even more.

The male lead being so proud of his wife is honestly adorable, even when he gets jealous.
And the female lead is so elegant and beautiful—I can’t wait to see this scene illustrated
Haha, did the ML really just say that to the FL? He’s so cute when he gets a little jealous.
Can’t wait for next chapter
The ML is so considerate of his wife. He treats her with so much care and gentleness, even when she doesn’t say a word—he just understands her. He’s honestly so perfect, I can’t 😭
I really hope the FL can overcome these painful feelings soon. I can’t bear to watch her suffer this much. 💔
