The next day at dawn.

Ruela, who had woken up early, opened the game screen while still lying in bed. It was a leisurely morning, something she hadn’t enjoyed in a long time.

Since she hadn’t checked the rankings after successfully clearing Balder yesterday, she immediately clicked on the announcements.

Legend Guild and Peroz Guild were tied for first place. Smiling contentedly at this, Ruela entered the talk board.

As she skimmed through the recent posts, Ruela’s brow furrowed.

It was unlike what she’d expected—she’d thought the board would be filled with discussions about them.

Upon checking further, it seemed the Legend Guild leader had posted something.

Apparently, after Balder was defeated yesterday, the talk board had been buzzing with discussions about Peroz Guild.

Then, someone had started mocking Legend Guild for hoarding information about Named Monsters and acting superior, which seemed to have sparked the whole commotion.

People argued that since Peroz Guild had far fewer members, they deserved to be ranked higher than Legend Guild. Enraged by this, the Legend Guild leader had posted a message:

“If we lose first place, we’ll disband the guild.”

Because of that post, the board was in complete chaos.

Everyone felt Peroz Guild ought to respond somehow to such a declaration from the Legend Guild leader. But Ruela, lacking posting privileges, could only watch helplessly from the sidelines.

Besides, if they failed to defeat Duke Kuran first, their situation wouldn’t just be guild disbandment—it would mean total annihilation. So there was no point in adding her voice anyway.

Ruela closed the screen and got out of bed.
