The Mad Commander is Obsessive (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 49
The sun’s heat warmed not only the garden but also the Queen’s receiving room on the second floor of the royal palace.
All the windows in the receiving room were opened wide to let the breeze flow through and cool the heat.
Between the gently fluttering curtains, Delia’s golden strands of hair swayed.
Though one would expect her to avoid the scorching sun, Delia clung stubbornly to the windowsill, refusing to move away.
Keeping her gaze fixed outside the window, Delia made a request to her maid, Anes.
“Anes, please bring me a glass of cool water.”
Delia was scanning the palace gardens spread out beneath her.
Her blue eyes, glimmering brilliantly in the sunlight, darted restlessly as if searching for something.
Unconsciously, her slender, pale hand gripping the edge of the antique curtain tightened.
“To think Imperial Soldiers now fill the entire Iorenti Royal Palace.”
In the garden, construction was well underway to renovate the fountain’s water channels.
The very soldiers who had once wielded guns and swords to conquer Iorenti were now busy digging the earth.
The oppressive heat of the sun seemed unbearable; one by one, they began stripping off their outer garments.
Sweat trickling down their well-defined muscles sparkled under the sunlight.
Their radiating heat filled the palace, making it feel as though it were burning.

The Villainous Demon Lord Laid an Egg for Her (Female-Dominated)
Several months after transmigrating into a book, Yu Wu found herself facing the demon lord Li You, who could no longer conceal his dragon horns. With one hand on her aching waist and the other gripping a sharp sword, she stared at him.
The demon lord’s eyes were red with fury:
“This is all your doing! Today, I won’t rest until I kill you!”
Yu Wu rubbed her temples. Putting aside the taboo against bloodshed during pregnancy, wasn’t it this very man who willingly walked into her trap that day?!
Warnings:

Those who wore coral-stone earrings…
Coral is typically prized by island cultures. I was thinking the island countries or the Estrella empire was involved in this to sow discord.

“Miss Regina, please rest here. I’ll go hunting briefly and return.”
It seems the emperor has caught feelings that even he isn’t fully aware of yet.

Does the queen really think Delia would be better off in Boswell? She should know better. Whether enemy or ally, Delia would be treated as an object and used for her relation to the throne and ability to bear children. At least this way Delia can not only be happy but retain her dignity. Or is the queen perhaps grieving that her son will be deposed and wants to send Delia away so there is noone to replace the crown prince?
It’s hard to believe the princess has no allies within the palace, among the council or elders or even within the kingdom.
