The Duke's Flower is Precarious (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 89
All eyes turned toward the entrance of the Grand Hall. Princess Ophelia stepped forward and entered the banquet hall first.
‘It’s Her Highness Princess Ophelia!’
‘Truly, no one can rival her beauty.’
Onlookers marveled at Ophelia’s uniquely dignified bearing, perfectly complemented by her renowned beauty, even among the finest in Lisandro.
Yet, the moment they saw the woman who entered right after Ophelia, their admiration escalated into sheer astonishment.
‘Who on earth is that lady…?’
‘Could it possibly be Her Grace the Grand Duchess Elyos?’
The woman possessed delicately sculpted features as if crafted from fine porcelain, with strikingly pure white skin. A dress adorned with lace softly enveloped her fair, smooth complexion, its hem fluttering with each step like the wings of an insect.
Her gracefully measured steps were mystical and enchanting, as though a fairy had wandered into the mortal world. When her eyes—reminiscent of fresh early-summer leaves—slowly scanned the surroundings, those caught within her gaze stood dazed before jerking back to their senses.
“Your Grace, it seems many here are quite taken with you.”
Ophelia curled the corners of her lips, observing the young noblemen around Aidel with dazed, dreamy expressions. Just as she had planned.
“Shall I personally introduce the man with whom you’ll share your first dance? Since I escorted you to tonight’s ball, that privilege belongs to me.”
In the Lisandro Empire, etiquette dictated that the first and last dances of a ball must be shared with one’s official escort.
However, since Ophelia—also a woman—had escorted Aidel this time, the right to choose Aidel’s dancing partner now rested with Ophelia instead. Naturally, this too was precisely what she had intended.
“Now, whom shall I introduce first?”

Male lead is a Love-Obsessed Merman
When he discovers she has gone, he risks everything to pursue her on land, enduring agonizing pain to transform his tail into human legs…

One-line summary: Male lead chases female lead. The male lead’s love is a bit sick, an invincible love brain.
Synopsis
During a voyage at sea, Jiang Yang accidentally captures a merman.
Servant: I heard that mermen are fierce and brutal.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman obediently rubbing her palm like a puppy: “You call this fierce and brutal?”
Servant: I heard that mermen have no human nature.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman with wet puppy eyes, obsessively calling her ‘A Yang’ like a childish infant: “You call this having no human nature?”
With great difficulty, she releases the merman back into the sea and returns to shore.
Who would have thought that in less than half a month, the merman, who should have been freely wandering in the South China Sea, would shed his scales, endure the pain of losing his tail, transform into human legs, and come ashore to find her?
He kneels at her feet, rubbing her palm, with merman tears rolling down: “A Yang, don’t abandon me.”

Can’t wait for second prince to die . How dare he touch grand Duchess with his filthy hand.
I hope Kareon kills first prince . But maybe that’s not going to happen because of diplomatic relations between kingdoms. If at that moment aidel would have remained unconscious ,second prince definitely would have died .It’s unfortunate , that bastard should have died on spot.
I am blushing even though I don’t know what withdrawal symptoms is.
