The Duke Only Needs My Child (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 97
The temple carriage entered the mansion. The person who stepped out of the carriage was Miera.
“Where is the patient?”
“This way, please.”
The butler, who had been waiting for her, led her to the mansion’s backyard.
There, a group of noblewomen were in the midst of their tea time, and cheerful laughter could be heard even from afar. It hardly seemed like a place where someone was unwell.
As Miera approached them, one of the noblewomen spotted her and frowned deeply, waving her hand dismissively.
She was the lady of the house, Countess Ronan.
“Oh dear, I thought I’d suffocate waiting for you.”
Miera briskly walked up to her side and greeted her with a gentle smile.
“Good day, Madam. What seems to be troubling you?”
“I spilled hot tea earlier and got burned. I swear my feet were about to catch fire from waiting so long.”
The maid who had been wrapping her foot with a cloth soaked in cold water stepped aside, revealing a red mark on the top of her foot. Though reddened, it didn’t appear to be a severe burn.
“Your fair skin has turned red. That must have hurt quite a bit. I’ll treat it right away.”
“Oh no, I was almost heartbroken! Do you even realize how much our family has donated to the temple? Honestly, treating me like an afterthought really hurts my feelings.”
Though nobles dared not speak carelessly to the Pope, who was called the Messenger of God, many priests came from commoner backgrounds, leading some nobles to subtly look down on them.

After Being Cheated On, She Picked Up a Treasure (Female-dominant)
One-line summary: The husband I married on a whim had been secretly in love with me for a long time.
On the day when Jun Shao finally obtained the imperial decree for her marriage, Lan Qu, the person she had admired for six years, defied the decree and ran away.
Her gentleness and devotion, her promise of a lifetime together, were all disregarded by him. Instead, he dreamed of entering the palace to serve the Emperor’s sister as a sixth-rank attendant.
News of this incident spread throughout the capital, and the alleys in front of and behind the Lan mansion were crowded with people who came to watch the commotion.
Jun Shao should have been embarrassed and angry.
But someone stepped in to protect her dignity.
The figure was in a miserable state, yet still possessed an undeniable elegance and handsomeness.
The young lord struggled to climb the wall of the Lan mansion and shouted to her, “If he won’t marry you, I will!”
So, Jun Shao took advantage of the situation and married the person.
She thought the young lord did it to save the Lan family from the crime of defying the imperial decree, but never imagined that from beginning to end, what he coveted was her.
*
After the wedding, Jun Shao felt like she was living in a dream.
Her Wife-master was as beautiful as a fairy in a painting, skilled in the six arts, well-versed in poetry and literature, capable of being gentle and attentive, and also grand and dignified. Most importantly, she was the only one in his heart and eyes.
Jun Shao didn’t know how Lan Shiwu, as a illegitimate son without a father and blessed with beauty, had managed to preserve his purity, recklessly escape, and use his last ounce of strength to ruin his own reputation, all because of his love for her, just to stand before her.
She could only see him gazing at her with eyes full of love, and when she bestowed a name upon him, his eyes shone like stars.
“You have come to me like a weary bird perching on a branch. I shall call you A Qi.”

Lala Gu Chapter 98Blair finally telling the truth and clearing Esmeralda’s name felt long overdue, and the courtroom tension was intense the whole time. Ivan’s decision was surprising—he chose justice, but it also felt a bit calculated. The ending at the cemetery was emotional and gave a quiet sense of closure.
hoor포플러 Chapter 98I expected the trial to last more than a chapter. I feel like something is missing, but it’s nice that the truth finally came out.
hoor포플러 Chapter 98Now it’s time for the escape!! Yaaay >v< !! Let them live happily together!

hoor포플러 Chapter 98 — Paragraph 114"Rest peacefully now, Your Majesty."
Her ending is good 😭😭😭, but it’s so unfair. She died seen as a traitor even though she protected the heroine, and only after her death was her name cleared in a second trial.
hoor포플러 Chapter 98 — Paragraph 83Yet for some reason, a vague unease lingered—perhaps due to Ivan's demeanor.
Why is it getting scary?.. It feels like Ivan is about to do something bad to Herdin (and honestly… I support it, do whatever you want 😭).
Sena Alkan Chapter 98 — Paragraph 114"Rest peacefully now, Your Majesty."
In this entire story, they were the only person who actually loved her. Oh, poor Esmeralda, you can finally be at peace now.

This chapter really builds tension—between the political trial, Blair’s pregnancy, and Miera stirring rumors. The contrast is sharp: nobles gossiping carelessly while Blair walks straight into something that could change everything. And Herdin? Still trying to hold on in his own controlling way. Things are definitely about to explode.

Finally!! We’ve reached the best part 😭. I just hope the Pope or the High Priest doesn’t manipulate the evidence…

My hands are trembling with sweat. This chapter was tense, and the whole trial starts in the next one!
