Soo Kyeong, looking satisfied, slipped her Golden Credit Card between her index and middle fingers and handed it to the clerk. Seeing this, Do Jun hastily tried to stop her, his face flustered.

“Ms. Lee Soo Kyeong, I’ll handle the payment.”

The store they were currently in was the world’s most popular luxury suit brand among young men.

No matter how affluent Soo Kyeong was as the daughter of the director of Han River Hospital, this was simply too shameless.

Just looking at her card made that obvious—how could a jobless young lady possibly obtain a VIP-exclusive card only granted to executives at major corporations?

It was clearly a card given by her parents as pocket money, yet she intended to use her parents’ money to buy him such an expensive gift? That fell far outside Do Jun’s moral boundaries.

Soo Kyeong tilted her head, bewildered, as if unable to grasp his reasoning. Glancing briefly at the clerk, Do Jun leaned close to her ear and whispered.

“You may not realize this, Ms. Soo Kyeong, but clothes here aren’t cheap at all. Even if your parents generously support you, buying something this expensive while still a student is really going too far.”

“A student? Me?”

Soo Kyeong blinked rapidly, her eyes widening in surprise, as if she’d just heard something completely unexpected.

The moment Do Jun saw her expression, he instantly regretted his words—he’d never once asked what she actually did for a living.

Perhaps it was because the image of her as “the daughter of Han River Hospital” was too strong in his mind; he’d simply assumed, naturally, that coming from a wealthy family, she must still be in school.
