“Managing Director, what should I do with these dishes?”

Min Director’s voice pierced Cha’s deep reverie.

“Do you know which fairy tale moved me the most when I read it?”

Managing Director Cha’s sudden question began quite abruptly. Director Min, who had just rolled his eyes, opened his mouth a beat late.

“Oh, what could it be? I’m very curious.”

“The Fairy and the Woodcutter.”

“The Fairy and the Woodcutter? You mean the part where he stole her clothes while she bathed…?”

“Yeah, that woodcutter brat was a real bastard. He stole the fairy’s winged robe and forced her into marriage. It was coercion—today, that’d be a crime.”

“Oh,” Director Min nodded vigorously, muttering agreement aloud.

“But the woodcutter was also incredibly stupid—he trusted women far too easily. She explicitly told him not to return her winged robe until after they had three children… yet he was still an idiot.”

His monotonous tone flowed smoothly, like reading a script.

“Do you know why she’s called a *fairy*?”

He tossed the question out, then lazily turned his gaze toward Director Min, as if challenging him to answer. Seeing Min shake his head repeatedly, he chuckled with a soft *kick*.

“Idiot. It’s because she has a kind heart. That’s why she’s a fairy.”

At this point, it was practically a one-man monologue.
